I dont think the punishment was that harsh since I got exactly the same punishment from a loving father. But my father, also gave his support on how to document and defend myself from bullying at school, he backed me up in both perspectives I think.

This mans son was being a bully. He gave him consequences. If your child was bullied by his child, you’d wonder why he is not doing his part to punish his child. It’s a loose, loose when it comes to punishment for a child.

I could tell you why. If this kid is being treated by this man the same way I was by this exact man when I was 3,4,5 years old it would explain everything! People aren’t who you think they are!! Right Mr. Thornhill..?

For future parents out there, if you are going to discipline your kid, never record it and show people on the internet. This can really screw with you now and can make your childs life miserable in the future.

  • @fogandwhirlwind

This is a weird one. Sometimes it can be difficult to find the line at where abuse is. The father did ride with the kid to make sure he made it to school and was okay. One mile is long for a kid but not too bad. Hmmmm I don't know. It definitely wouldn't be a long term solution. I wouldn't do it for more than one day. And before I punished or disciplined him at all, we would (very important) have a long conversation about the bullying. I would try to figure out why he was doing this and how to stop it. Then go from there.

Put barbells in his backpack. Make him drive a wheelbarrow of rocks. That's the way it's done in correctional boot camp in the military.
