Great workflow for the geometrical model, but for the details and the reinforcement model does it work parametrically? I mean do we have to manually model the reinforcement every time inside Revit or is there a way to define the rules or input parameters inside Grasshopper to change the numbering, spacing, the diameter of reinforcement? Can the reinforcement be modeled parametrically for this workflow using a link to excel?
Hi, I am not an expert for reinforcement detailing. What I have seen the most of best practice is to bring Revit model to Tekla Structure using Tekla Grasshopper connector. This way you will be able to add reinforcement parametrically in Tekla environment. Softistik reinforcement tool also give you great parametric reinforcement modeling options... But mostly building elements not for the infrastructural elements. There are also opensource development to create rebars in Grasshopper parametrically, however, you cannot generate the reinforcement in Revit... I am also hoping that Rhino.Inside.Revit will provide reinforcement tool in the future..

I think GH has much more to offer than SOFiSTiK Bridge Modeler. It is also very easy to use without playing with the Revit tools

Nice. Any reason why you created all elements as generic elements? Is it because you couldn't get the materials to set correctly.
You can set the elements correctly.. this is because Autodesk does not provide a family template for the bridge category yet...
