The mint choc chip and goofy are the ones that stood out the most to me. I think I am living vicariously though the Watch and Car Guys at the moment. Loving the content.
I just got a goofy panda and it is absolutely gorgeous. The main dial has a nice matte yet metallic hue that is especially more apparent than the other models. The sub second dial is also somewhat more contrasting than the other models. Maybe I've just seen too many Watermelons. Goofy Panda is definitely underrated.
Ordered the Mint Ch0c Chip earlier today thanks to the restock! I had been waiting for months & i can't wait to have mine delivered (in Sept). I was hesitating with the Desert Sky but the hour markers on the Mint made the difference for me 🙌
What a relief, someone with the courage, or location to buy the lot. So so tickled warwemelon pink. I bought the watermelon ( & paid import duty into Auztralia ) am salivating over the latest field O2 series. Great to hear your comments. MWSB, Australia.
I have been lucky to jump on the StudioUnderd0g bandwagon during its KickStarter period, and bagged for myself a stunning Desert Sky. Swapped the OEM bracelet for a tan leather Coraleb and here's a fantastic combo for less than €500.
Damien - pleaseeee at least do a video after watches and wonders. Also curious to know your thoughts on the grey market prices through the floor. Woohoo i say, even though my collection value is down, hopefully i can add more from the AD!

@@jasonm.8749 the mint is cool but it's more subdued. The watermelon is the OG and I think I'd go with the louder version of a watch that's supposed to be so fun like these.
I see why collectors like the studio underdog, however, its not for me. There are other mirco brands out there that I find more interesting, instead of a coloured dial that represents fruit with a seagull movement. That daytona under the cuff is amazing. White gold and it has a striking reassemble to the infamous 6265. Definitely a keeper my friend and a sleeper for the future.
@@TheWatchGuysTV firstly, glad you are back. Missed your watch content. I was on the list, I got up early. I had the money in my account. I didn't pull the trigger. Maybe I need to see one in person. Or maybe it's a watch I appreciate but will never personally own
I wasn't sure about these, but they have grown on me and now I love them so much I had my colleague buy one for me and ship it to Istanbul! Now, having just watch this video I have to go to the local shop to get some sweet and sour water melon jelly worms! 😋🍉 Btw.....that movement is very reliable and looks good, at least from a distance.
Hey guys. You're probably busy out there driving every ferrari, but in case you see this, super interested to hear your thoughts on the current market environment for watches. Specifically, been hearing rumors about being able to buy Rolexs at... *gasp* MSRP! Might it be time to pick up a couple of watches for the collection while everyone else is out there distracted with high interest rates and driving more Ferraris?
Hi Bob, sorry for the late reply - must have been out driving Ferraris :). Current watch market is very weird, and certainly prices have been depressed all year. You are right, Rolexs at MSRP and below certainly possible, and yes - the right time to get all those ones that used to cost 3 x as much.
I love the colors of almost all the Underd0g models so far, but asymmetrical subdials just aren't my style (here or elsewhere.) That said, I can see myself eating my words if their next color scheme blows me away. For the moment, however, I'm content to have an excuse to save some money. Loved seeing some of your watches that are under 5-figures. Keep 'em coming!
@@TheWatchGuysTV Benc himself brought samples of his entire line to the Wind-Up Watch Fair in Chicago last week, and after seeing them in person, I'm 100% dedicated to getting one of my own very soon. Only two questions remain: 1- when will they be up for sale again, and 2- do I choose the watermelon, the mint chip, or whatever new design they've got up their sleeves?

I told one fellow youtuber of yours that the underdog melon was crap (to paraphrase)--he did not agree much... If you have watch money to spend for a single season or you are the type of person who can pull of Hawaii/Bowling shirts for one consecutive decade, they are great. If you aren't, they aren't. They are a statement piece, don't bespeak class or give away a conaisseur, and they are loud. If they fit under your shirt, please, keep them there. If you like independent watch makers--I really like Lorier. Still expensive for what they are, but made very well and with abundant knowledge of the history of iconic watches. PS.: The idea that nobody cares if you wear a Rolex is definitely true, and I love it for just that. I appreciate the case, the movement, the bracelet. And nobody cares. It's like having a display caseback--nobody cares except yourself.
Each episode takes a great deal of time to produce, which I am struggling to find and justify given that UA-cam has halved money paid to content creators. This leads to an explosion of clickbait and copycat videos. Which I don't do.

If the UK was still in the EU I would buy one for sure, now with the extra costs it is just too expensive for the kind of watch I am buying. Not sure why the Brits committed that economic suicide with Brexit...but hey...it is what it is.
