ELF Cosmetics - Affordable and Quality Makeup - Perfect for Older Women

- I have officially fallen in love with ELF cosmetics. They are a drugstore brand who in my opinion has products that can hold their own against many luxury brands. In fact, I actually prefer them to high-end brands in many cases.
In this video I play with ELF products, applying a full face of my favorite products but also sharing many of the others that I think might be perfect for older skin. My skin is very dry at the moment, but no matter what your skin color or texture, ELF is bound to have a fabulous, affordable product for you.
Even though I managed to smudge eyeshadow on my chin at the end of the video - I know it sounds impossible but i did it - the look turned out to be quite beautiful - for me at least!

I seldom watch entire videos, mostly I just skip through them but I realized half way through that I had been watching all of it. So nice to find someone near my age, I'm 68, who loves make up and has such a sweet personality. You are very inspiring to especially to us older women. Thank you.

This ELF selection was lovely on you. I am inspired to do just a little more. At 82 I use only blush and occasionally, my brows. A you say, why not enjoy the process of a little makeup - we are still women, after all.
I think you are a very happy person. I'm 70 and having a rather awful time with ageing. My mom died at 53 and was so pretty. Anyway, dear Lady I'm glad I found your channel. You are so lovely!!! Rock on!!!

I love how you embrace your age and skin. I’m trying hard to do that myself. I love ELF because it allows me to experiment with “looks”. Not sure about pink eye shadow. It makes me look like I’ve been crying but love the other choices. Love your videos. Stay well

This was lovely. I think it was so much fun because the expectations were not so high with lower priced cosmetics. You can have fun applying and playing with all the options. I love E.L.F! I am 62 and have been wearing make up since age 14. I discovered E.L.F. When I was on a shoestring budget upon my daughters suggestion. impressive! Great products with awesome performance, not to mention the amazing prices.
I am " firing" most of my extension of other brands because they can't compare with E.L.F.

"Wow! This was informative. I have just gotten into the elf, and now going to do some more shopping. I'm so glad I found your channel. I will be turning 70 this year, still work full time and make up everyday. Seeing this video helped me not think I'm getting too old for this as much as I love make up and what it can do for us physically and mentally. In my 20's and 30's I worked Este lauder, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, cosmetic counters in department stores so I was so used to high end that it's been kinda difficult breaking that habit, although I do love Revlon also. And I discovered "IT' cosmetics, which is nice too. Also now who want's to spend a lot of money on cosmetics. My priority now is skin care...You look absolutely beautiful! Thank you, and I subscribed!

I recently purchased the elf gel retractable eyeliner. I use it to tightline my top lid and it is the best of any I have used. It does not transfer and stays for hours. Love it. Will have to try more

I love ELF products. I use their eye primer before using eye shadow and it really makes a difference. You look beautiful.

Very pretty Margaret! I use some of the same products from ELF too. The primer infused blush is a favorite in the color Always Spicy. I also like the pallet called Hot Jalapeno in the eyeshadow. It looks good against my dark skin. Tfs! ❤

I also love that you don't put on gobs of thick goop on your face. I live in a humid area, and have found that I have no interest in filling my pores with product. Skin care and a light touch with makeup is the way to go. I love to look natural with pink cheeks to look healthy, not like a movie star. Sheer makeup is a must in a humid climate.🤩

I am 64 and retired last March. Since then, I have almost completely given up makeup. I just use a blush and lipstick now. Watching your videos and other You Tube channels for women over 60 in the last few days has made me want to go out and buy makeup and start wearing something other than sweats (which I have been wearing almost exclusively since Covid-19.)
WOW!!! Lookin' good pretty lady! :D I bend my mascara wand brush to a 90`degree angle which works better (for me) when applying than having it straight :)

I got the light Maybelline Age Rewind after hearing your comments . Not sure if it’s too light, but it definitely gets rid of my dark circles I bought it from Sally, with my birthday coupon. If I return Age Rewind to Sally, I lose out on my birthday coupon.

I would like to wear eyeshadow but I need a really good eye make up remover to take it off. If I happen to leave it on overnight, it makes my lids and the skin under my brow really itchy. Any suggestions? My skin is dry and very sensitive. I am 79 years of age and don’t wear a lot of make up but when I do, I like to apply it with a light hand. I really do enjoy your videos Margaret, thank you for doing them.

I love the concealer highlighter duo. Can’t say enough! I’m an esthetician and have tried so many. It is truly radiant. I can’t seem to find lately in Canada so I ordered on eBay. I do have dark circles and lines. I use it in the inner corners and down the darkest part. And very sparingly on any veins outside of that with a brush. Stay away from the lines. Best thing I every did in my application. I also use a colour corrector sometimes as needed.
