The guy in this song is just in a way, proving that would never leave her. So it’s not about the guy absolutely refusing to leave even if the girl doesn’t like him it’s just him proving he wouldn’t simply leave her for someone else.

Sorry if the change of context is not to your liking, I just wanted to express the relationship of my characters with songs that make me imagine or feel something...
