She said that Taeyong reads as the most technically trained dancer, that mark was a balance of technique and personality but Haechan dances like it's second nature to him. That is seems for him it's just like breathing. He was born to do it. That what he has and offers through dance can not be learned, you just have it. She said she found herself forgetting to look at him for technique and had to replay it multiple times because she'd get lost in just watching him. Yes. All of the yes. But recently, I have realised just how talented and special he is as a performer. His facial expressions are so natural and so are his movements. He has a natural charisma when he's dancing that makes it hard to look away. Even when he wasn't my bias, I found myself watching his fancams to see "how Haechan does this move." I was never disappointed when I did watch them. It's nice that his company realizes how special he is as he's getting more center opportunities now and that used to be very rare for him in 127 and Dream. (They had a tendency to favour Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Jeno and Jaemin) His voice is so unique and he's so stable and dependable. Haechan is the literal sun and I'm so glad that we get to watch him grow because he's going to be extraordinary.
What I love about Hyuck is not because he's the best dancer, performer or singer from the start but how he never stops improving himself both in singing and dancing. If you compare Lee Haechan in 2016 to Lee Haechan 2020, you can see a BIG difference. Not to mention how hard-working he is, he's now in 3 NCT units, promoting in 127 and Dream at the same time, doing Haechan radio, preparing for the up coming tour.... I’ve been a casual fan of NCT since debut but never really got super into any of the members until late 2018. Haechan was the first one who really caught my eye and I have been absolutely hooked ever since. I saw 127 on their tour last year and hearing his voice and seeing him dance in person was unbelievable. The amount of talent that boy has is insane, it’s truly a crime how underrated he was, and still is to some extent. Since then he’s become my ult (in all of kpop), dethroning my pervious bias who had been my number one for nearly 3 years.
