- Remember, this is not a competition, ranking, or even full analysis. It’s a fun video that zooms in on members I think are really doing a great job with the choreo and is meant to be fun and appreciative. Please be kind.
This is the approx amount of time I ended up focusing on each member. I am actually quite impressed with everyone. This is not an easy dance:

Here is what I noticed about each members’ performance:
Chaeyeon
An extremely good sense for dance in general. Great musicality, spectacular balance, great at catching details. I think her footwork and her chest movements are particularly strong. Sometimes she does miss a few details though and could be a little cleaner in some moves, especially more graceful ones.
Chaewon
Actually one of the cleanest performances I’ve seen while doing this series! She’s really catching every detail, completing moves, she knows just where and how to angle her body as well as how to add in tiny movements with her head/fingers/body in general to emphasize the move. The one issue is that she lacks the power on the stronger and sharper moves, making them lose quite a bit of impact.
Yujin
She really starts getting into it after her duet moment lol. She brings a great energy to the stage. She misses some details but also catches others that most miss. She’s kind of a wildcard, sometimes going under the radar and sometimes really shining.
Yena
She doesn’t always catch every detail and is sometimes off time but when she gets it...she REALLY gets it. Like, at her best, she’s perfect. Great mix of power and grace and not a single body part out of place. This was most notable during the dance break. Frame by frame I didn’t see a single error in that sequence from her.
Eunbi
Great awareness of the textures in the music and when to bring more powerful versus more graceful movements. She’s one of the best at letting the movement flow through her by starting with a certain limb and waving it through. This makes her elegant movements very smooth and even some powerful ones quite eye catching. I would say she rushes some things though and also sometimes has odd arm or leg placement that isn’t optimal to the move.
Yuri
Super duper graceful. Like, she seems to have really mastered those flowy wrist and hand movements and especially a really nice popped hip that makes her legs look nice. She also adds in body rolls to her moves in order make them look smoother which is quite impactful usually. I think any issues usually occur in faster moves where she isn’t able to hit all the details.
Minju
Very clean, particularly great with hip and head angles (better than most even). She does miss some details and often puts her legs in awkward stances particularly. But overall a great performance.
Wonyoung
Great at hitting stunning poses and catching little details especially body rolls. She also is good and avoiding awkward moments especially with her arms. One issue she comes across is not going all the way with some moves (ie not leaning in enough, tilting her head enough, reaching far enough etc). She could also have better musicality/timing during faster moves.
Sakura
Sakura seems like one of those dancers who knows what should be done in order to make a move look nicer but doesn’t quite have the technical ability to always pull it off. She is making conscious choices to add to her moves, be dramatic and give a great performance but they lack a certain fluidity. This becomes hit or miss and she sometimes runs into awkward moments while other times she looks great. Nothing is wrong with this style in my opinion though, it’s always great to go for it when you can and learn how to do better each time. Many idols are like this.
Hitomi
She misses a number of details and seems to rush a lot of her moves. However, she seems to have a good sense for dance overall as she's still quite clean. I think just working on the choreo a bit more could make a big difference.
Nako
Despite not getting much screen time in my vid, Nako did quite well, rarely making any mistakes actually. She’s usually quite on time and catches a fair amount of details. I think her issue might be a hesitance to go full out in the moves. She seems less fluid than the rest, maybe thinking about the moves in pieces rather than as a sequence? I think just getting more familiar with the choreo or possibly even more confident in her ability to perform it would help a lot.
Hyewon
I actually feel Hyewon does better here than when I saw her in Fiesta despite me technically giving her less time, she’s good at maintaining straight angles and with body rolls. Mostly her issues just stem from underdancing. The moves lose their impact and she also does a similar thing to Wonyoung where she doesn’t fully commit to some moves. Perhaps she is simply overthinking it and getting nervous.

Anyways, I like this dance even more than I remembered. I should've put it in my Top 20 Choreos of 2020 :(
This one was hard to pick who did it "best" as many of them do very well each move. Very impressive.

Yes, exactly if only those other members are not that good she could have been a part of dance line and also Minju.
although nako doesn’t stand out much in terms of dancing, she’s really clean and i like that about her. and you’ll also never see her slacking in a live stage, she’s always so stable
Yes, she's definitely one of the most consistent throughout the dance in terms of ability. Although her highs aren't as high as some, she rarely makes notable mistakes either (at least from what I can see in this one vid)

Evaluating Iz*one is really hard since we all know Chaeyeon is a good dancer and is really fluid and powerful. But then we have Chaewon who focuses on clean and sharp moves, Yena and Eunbi both with strong and powerful moves. Then we have Wonyoung and Yujin, even though their height are disadvantages they don't look awkward. And we have Nako, Hitomi, Minju, Yuri who are all so underrated. And Hyewon and Sakura omg they improved like so much.
For sure. I struggled. I wish I could go through and point out every single person for every single move and talk about it but then we'd be here forever lol. So I'll settle for a "Best of" meme fancam to give yall the crash course

Although Chaewon dancing is not as powerful as Chaeyeon's, There is something in her dance that catches my attention her moves are so clean and relaxing to watch haha it's satisfying ❤
i also noticed that she mixed cute&elegance in her dance
she and chaeyeon are similar in flow and style of dance and yena and eunbi dance similarly in their power and style (in my opinion at least)
@@itszoeloh I agree! I have noticed how Chaewon focuses on her flow while dancing, like connecting every transition of dance moves smoothly just like Chaeyeon, and Yena focuses on delivering the choreography in every detail (her footwork is amaaazing) with power just like Eunbi.
She's top 2 dancer for me in Izone

yuri is an underrated dancer. she’s not in dance line but she’s definitely lead dancer material!
Yuri deserves position, and for panorama she's more than ready to get that title!
To me Sakura is now lead dancer material. She's improving on many aspects to surpasses average lead dancer level (facial expression, clarity, power, placement). Yuri is improving too but she still has a long way to become lead dancer material though she nailed all waves and body rolls movements (but it's okay since her strength lays on her vocal)

Both Yuri and Sakura deserve to get their positions updated into lead dancers like-
my dance ranking would be :
1. chaeyeon (4th gen main dancer period)
2. eunbi (leader kwon is so underrated and sometimes i think she hasn't showed us her all but still she is so good)
3. yena (she is always at the fourth but i really think she is the third best dancer in iz*one)
4. chaewon
5. yujin (stop sleeping on yujin she is only 17 yet she dances so good!!)

Chaewon and Yena always make me feel conflicted because their skills and performance level are really close to each other. Yena wins by a slight margin but still both of them are really great dancers despite having different techniques. Yena‘s dance is strong and powerful while Chaewon’s is elegant yet sharp.
for eunbi really make me surprise when she dance monster she really putting out her crazy energy like she's almost gonna break her bone but she doesn't overdance at all swjdjejjejw
Eunbi should definitely go Solo. She is soloist material.

I'm chaeyeon biased. But seeing how Minju and Sakura dance improve ah I'm so proud of my babies! All of them are such a good dancers tbh, we love all IZONE members, stay safe and healthy guys🥰

I agree Chaeyeon dance well, but there is something special about Chaewon. I love how clean her movement is. Also one of the reason her fancam is so satisfying is because her dance.
Yujin delivers every single time
Chaeyeon is in the godly level. Yena and Yujin are the next best in my opinion. Meanwhile the best improvement award has to go to Sakura

I guess we can say chaewon is not underrated anymore and im happy for that bc now ppl are now seeing the talented chaewon. Sakura, Minju and Yuri improve alot and Bravo for them im so proud. Chaewon, yuri and minju are underrated dancers and need to be talked about more.
Chaewon is not underrated anymore, she's slowly getting recognition. Imo Minju has the potential since the beginning and Yuri is improving her dancing, she killed almost all the waves!🙌

Everyone is talking about how underrated Chaewon dance skill.. but for me, its Yuri.. Chaewon is not that underrated in term of dancing.. fans already recognize her dance skill since her dance break in Mama 2018 and she already gained a lot attention for her dance since fiesta.. and lot of people already think she's in the top 3 dancer in the group.. and now, her fancam always got lot of view during panorama era... but its Yuri who is underrated in term of dancing. Yuri is a great dancer but somehow, people didnt even realize that
yeah... wizones tends to only look at her just as the main vocal who hits high notes instead of how good a dancer she is... at least kwizones appreciate her ^^

For sure. There are definitely moments where the girls are more aware of their move in relation to other members more than how it looks on themselves. I will do Panorama but not Sequence

She auditioned to be a Main Dancer, was supposed to be Iz*one's Main Vocalist but became the groups Main Rapper,Lead Vocalist and Lead dancer instead. She is the best all rounder of 4th gen in my opinion

When she focused the end part on Yujin and says "beautiful ending", this girl ain't lying. Although Yujin only got 1 long part, she stood out on this era with her talent and charisma. Even she's not standing in center, she keep doing facial expressions as if she's the one who's singing that part and she's adding flavors on her moves to avoid looking plain while dancing.

yuri is definitely above average for main vocalist with no dance position. she's a pro
and sakura is really above average for a member with no dance position. hard working girl. most improved member in terms of dancing along with yuri. imagine if sakura got proper dance training since her early debut days. mind blown

Finally someone who appreciates the Hitomi/Yujin part. It’s so satisfying, but no one talks about it.
Jo Yuri is a great dancer, for panorama she improved a lot but only the ones who watch her fancams will know how good she is, i promise, this girl can wake up and say "i want to improve my dancing skills" and at the end of the day she'll be ready to be main dancer lol
She still has long journey to become even a lead dancer lol but I admit her dancing improvement is visible and worth to be mentioned

Still lack on impact of movements and agility) meanwhile Yuri still needs to work her expression (many times she looks blank), dynamic (several times being under/over dance), clarity (several times her angle is not really in the right place, creating illusion of not being clear at her movements). She still needs polish many traits of dancing, but it's not really important since her main core is her vocal ability

that is my top 3 it is not all about the dance but their own individual strenghts
-chaeyeon is hiphop based dancer which is rare
-eunbi(members respect eunbi same as their dance mentor)
-yena graduated as dance major so her full potential is locked at their routines this girl can slay any concept, any genre.
I'm just glad that hyewon got acknowledged twice :)

Like she's a main vocal of the group yet she slayyy this, I'm not being biased here but if I don't know her, I would really say she's in the dance line too..she improved a lot, like freakin A LOT!
Eversince fiesta era her dancing skills is becoming more smooth & sharp, ssots era bring out more energy in her and I'm not gonna lie, panorama era is her best era, like she slays every fancam! Yall seriously need to watch her fancam then you'll realise that she's not only a main vocal, she's an IZ*ONE ace too ♥
I feel like all of the members shined so much in ssots. In vocal, dance, stage presence and basically everything.
Can't say the same about panorama sadly. I hope their company does a better job highlighting chaeyeon, hyewon and j-line next time.

Hyewon's issue is definitely the aspect of confidence and self-trust that affects her dancing. But somehow as I observed she gets more & more confident even though it still shows. We don't know, Hyewon might just shock all of us if there is a point where the change is drastic
