I played DnD a year or so ago for the first time. A friend wanted his girlfriend, my husband and me to play our first time with him as DM. He’s played the game alot. We played perhaps 3 sessions before we stopped. It got almost a little annoying because his girlfriend, and I hate saying this, was a depressed and unamused player. Then they moved away and my husband and I haven’t played it since. I’ve heard someone mention that even if they are your friends they don’t always make good players together. People play things differently than others so.. yeah. Basically, my husband and I were ready for some good fun while his girlfriend sat in an annoyed way at her spot and played it like she was being forced to do a chore. It ruined the fun we were looking forward to. I do wanna try again one day but we have a small amount of friends that are always busy. So I watch stuff like this. lol
I've never played D&D specifically, but have recently gotten into Pathdinder which is basically a D&D spin off that's evolved into its own thing. I've only played a few sessions so far but so far it's really fun! And yes, you're right, D&D is what they play in Stranger Things!

I really hope we get to see more of Jaiden, Rambo, Alpharad, and Slimecicle playing Dungeons and Dragons because this was a really fun video
