I wouldn't take it that far IN MY OPINION, BUT I would hold EVERY RESPONSIBLE PARTY LIABLE, AND MY SISTER WOULD PAY EVERY SINGLE PENNY OWED TO ME. By the grace of God her baby wasn't hurt AND THATS THE BIGGER PICTURE because material items can be replaced her babies life is irreplaceable.AND her sisters life is irreplaceable so I wouldn't go forever not speaking to my sister again. @@journeecally1428 i respect your opinion, but that baby could’ve lost his life and the sister lied to her sister from the beginning acting like she was watching him with good intentions. they were horribly drunk around the baby, she had her baby around someone she disapproved of, & not only she risk that baby life she damaged her vehicle in process and comes to court looking like it wasn’t that bad. it would be different if she was apologetic but no she only paid her sister once for that. god does forgive and I can forgive and love from a far far away.

The defendant is in denial about her drinking, but also about her boyfriend. He is probably, already on probation or suspended or revoked driver's license
She had to know,he was hiding something, if his address is an abandoned building, or he is a squatter or homeless more than likely an ex-con

It's not just "her son". It's the defendants nephew. This is all messed up and chaotic. She's rolling around drunk with her nephew letting a drunk pookie drive her sister's car and she don't even know where he lives. Essentially, a drunk stranger had her nephews life in his hands. Or, what's more likely is she knows where he lives but she is more invested in keeping him out of jail rather than keep her nephew safe. If the plaintiff allows her around her kid, she cares very little for that kid as well. I feel for the kid.

Why the plaintiff not suing for the max for recklessness and emotional endangerment & distress of having her (the plaintiffs) child in the car and putting the baby's life in danger that which could've been taken due to her negligence and reckless inconsideration and disregard for the lives of other, especially her family members baby in the car at 5am in the morning joyriding drunk
Not just the car damages and repairs.
Even at the end, she still failed to see why she is to blame whether or not someone else, whose her "friend" was driving drunk too.
Then no where to be found or came forward to take joint accountability and responsibility for their actions. WHAT A FRIEND HE IS, HE DISAPPEARED FROM THE CRIME SCENE AND NO ONE KNEW HIS WHEREABOUTS
