The finishing blow on demise was so epic as soon as I learned how to do the finishing blow I knew it was going to be used to kill demise
FR like the building 360 into the air and the electricity empowering the sword and then the long front flip into a final blow was so awesome (my bad there is no front flip)
Ya I didn’t even know how to because he dodged every time lol. I ended up getting it but you have to do it after you knock him down a bunch. That or he hits you once he dodges
You knew the final boss early on? Kinda unfortunate in a way. Though I doubt it matters too much in the end!
Why does link always backflip off every demise incarnation after he drives the master sword through them? Mad disrespectful.
Got me standing up from my seat and waving my Wii mote all around like a crazed lunatic
I’m super glad I can say I beat the game on first try without letting link die :)
I didn't die until Demise, which was frustrating, but hey, i beat the game with 1 death
demise is fucking terrifying when you first fight him
A boss doesn’t need to be hard to be good
Demise is perfect I'm that regard for me. He has just the right amount of difficulty to be fun, challenging, and epic
Same goes for Ganondorf in TotK
Yes, but in the case of Demise he is one of the hardest bosses in the franchise.
Demise is absolutely unbelievably perfect the theme of link's young but also brave theme with evil mixed for a final confrontation is UNBELIEVABLY GOOD
One of my favorite final boss themes
*pure nostalgia*
It may have been easy, but Calamity Ganon makes this fight actually look difficult. I played this after I beat BOTW. I beat the Calamity in one try. Took me 4 tries to beat Demise. Mostly cause he’s kind of intimidating.
Fun fact: In BotW, if you _don’t_ do the divine beasts and instead head straight to the castle, Ganon’s blights appear in the central room in powered-up states, and Ganon itself is stronger as well. It’s a real gauntlet if you’re looking for a challenge.
That's because Calamity Ganon (Spoiler Alert) was just an overgrown Phantom Ganon. Who was a mindless beast
Demise was a tyrannical Demon King that nearly wiped all life on the surface. He's practically a god lore wise and arguably the Devil of this series
@@twinzzlersis not really a spoiler, Calamity has the title of "Scourge of Hyrule Castle." All the other blights have the same title of "Scourge" so it makes sense Calamity is similar to them
It was so easy but i was holding back because my brother was watching and i wanted to make it longer and entertaining
literally me every time my brother's in the room when i'm playing a game
The lighting in the back and yelling makes part 2 perfect
THANKS MAN ITS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
Zelda is the perfect game series to prove boss fights dont need to be hard to be good. I cant think of a single fromsoft boss that has as big of an impact on me as zeldas bosses (except general radahn)
Before the Great King of Evil was born, there was a Demise.
Yeah Demise is the reason why Ganondorf is evil and born, also the reason why every villain exists in the Franchise. He is the true Villain of the Franchise.
So I properly learned how to do the finishing blow during the Demise fight. Realized it was in fact a separate tutorial whilst checking what the hell they were indicating for me to do with that up down up stuff.
Best Legend of Zelda final boss fight
1:47 the instant Skyward Sword becomes Highlander.
No one:
Ss ost:SLAPS SO HATD THAT IT KNOCKS LINK WITH HIS IRON BOOTS ON
So Epic!
👌👌👌👌👌
The song would go even harder if it utilized The ballad of the goddess leitmotif
I can see myself running out of stamina chasing the thing
this fight makes me wish that you could parry with a sword in zelda games, Link to the past could do it in a way and it was running on the snes
Even without a shield it’s easy
There are many that are easier, either way it's still an epic fight, one of the most epics
🤩
sad that Demise is one if the easiest Zelda boss once you know what to do
atleast it sort of makes up for it by making it really fast to go straight to the beginning of the battle after you complete it, but you are right really sick boss just a bit too easy
My shield broke in the ghirahim fight so I thought I was screwed. Turned out nah.
The url has "69" and "&pp"
I cheesed him with invulnerability potions.
@@ZEPZONOI did the same, the first reactions I had of the boss was he is a boss hard af, so I did a lot of preparation before, so I felt no difficulty.
Second time after knowing what to do I beat him with just a health potion 2, maybe I'll try to do this with no potion for the third time
Am i the only one that think that ghirahim's final fight was harder and better than this one ?
I thought the final fights were going to be Gard af, so I did a lot of preparation before (18 hearts with medals, Hylian shield, health potion level 2, improved defense potion, durability potion) so I was invincible during the 3 last fights, I lose any difficulty because of this lmao
easy
I only died to him once because i fought him with low hp
Weird seeing people call Demise easy as if that was some sort of stunning revelation they had. The entire GAME was easy, easiest in the series by far. Still enjoyed it, but I always wanted a more difficult Master Quest version of it that amped up enemies and bosses too instead of a simple HD rerelease. Oh well, maybe some day.
Use hero mode bro, it exists for that reason.
Also Demise is way harder than Calamity Ganon or Dark Beast Ganon, so that’s a win in my book.
That's why Hero Mode exists. Once in Hero Mode I only had one heart left to finish him.
in my opinion skywars sword is the hardest zelda game alongside with zelda 1 and 2
Still harder than the Tears of the Kingdom boss fight. 🤷♂️
Depends on which one you’re referring to, if it’s the one right before the credits than I’d agree with you but the point of fights like that is to reward you for the struggle you went through in the fight prior to it by having an awesome cinematic and climatic ending to the game
The fight before the last one before the credits is a top tier fight since it requires skill and you need to be aware of the combat mechanics to defeat the boss, it can be hard or easy depending on how good the player is at certain things like timing their flurry rush multiple times in a row, you can’t just spam arrows on the boss like you could with the ganon fights in breath of the wild
@@fellowpassenger_54-67Actually, if you know how to flurry rush it’s not hard at all.
The only major issue I have with Demise is how the plot made no sense for him. Ghirahim goes back in time to resurrect Demise, who's subsequently killed, which creates a massive grandfather paradox. Even just Ghirahim's part: if he resurrected Demise, then there's no reason for Ghirahim's own past self to continue trying to resurrect him, so therefore Zelda is never kidnapped and the adventure never happens, so Demise is never resurrected. But then add in Link's part: if Demise is dead centuries beforehand, then the adventure never happens, which means the death never happens. It's the worst kind of time travel writing: ignoring paradoxes where convenient.
My way of fixing it is that the Triforce actually sent the Imprisoned back in time to be resurrected, so it was actually the Imprisoned from the present who appears. And it fulfills the wish.
nah Demise died first against Hylia long before the events of SS take place, the Imprisoned is Demise after he loses to time-travelling Link, where he definitely dies for his spirit to begin a reincarnation cycle as Ganondorf
There's 3 timelines a,b,c
Ghirahim leaves b to go revive demise in c
A is left permanently
The only explanation is that the gate of time is faulty being made by humans.
Most stories get very messy when time travel is involved, but I’d assume that they went to the past of another timeline where the fight with demise took place
But that can’t be used to excuse the game’s storytelling since as far as I know the game doesn’t imply that they’re going to other timelines when using the gate of time
If anything, the game seems to lean more towards the idea that this is all in one linear timeline
I had no idea you were supposed to Skyward Strike him, so I literally just spent the entire fight parrying all his attacks just to hit him once and repeat. It somehow made the fight even better
That's what I did as well and it took a good 10 minutes. Once I learned about the skyward strike with lightning I could beat him in about 2 minutes
same bro 😭
Exactly same💀
I mean to be fair that sounds fun but Demise kept doing the same thing eventually so it was a matter of time you would learn.
@@robsterthelobster420 no im too stupid to use context clues i just brute forced the whole fight 💀
