From Windows 8 onward, I feel they give us very few options for customization. Just compare Windows 7's Theme maker with Windows 10's Theme maker! You could even make Windows 7 look Windows 95-ish without installing anything. While Windows 10 just lets you enable light/dark mode and choose the accent color

They changed the dialog boxes 💬 background color from Windows 98,XP to 7 and now they stuck with the same background color through out the Windows 11 as well, i wish they changed it to modern dialog box with Dark Mode support.
Windows xp's is perfect on all. Sounds are so clear and detailed. Icons are vibrant Windows Vista and 7 is only good on the icons. Sounds are not so good. Plus it sounds like smashing a Window. Windows 8x's looks same as 7 and Vista's but different sound. The sound is clear and calm but not annoying Windows 10's Is just flattened. Sounds are annoying so i have to put the ones from Windows 8.1 Windows 11's puts back the skeumorph which makes it cool but sounds are terrible
