I have been praying for the men of our country to rise up and take their place and to see how to walk in it for about a year. Little did I know that a movie was already being produced which was an answer to my praying. God is incredible. His promptings are real. When you are prompted to pray something do it. You will be blown away. He is able!! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless His Holy Name! Jesus, Almighty God, Awesome Holy Spirit. TY
I'm very excited about this new movie from Sherwood Pictures! My husband is in law enforcement, so the premise strikes a special chord with us. We will be praying for all involved as the movie is finished up. May God bless all of you richly for your service to Him in making these films!
Took my wife and mother of our 4 children on a date tonight. I don't enjoy spending $11. to see a movie, but this film was worth it from start to finish. The storyline was incredible, the acting was top-notch with truly believable characters, and the message was delivered clearly and honestly. I was uplifted and moved, and admit that I needed my tissues too many times to admit. Thank you Sherwood Pictures for giving us a high quality product.
I just saw courageous,The fourth project in sherwood pictures. This was a realy felt movie...TY ! for airing this film.

My school, as of today, has all four of your cds. We give every student a chance to leave the class if this film is not in favor to their religion or in anyway offends them! Not one student has ever left after four movie showings. We showed COURAGEOUS twice today to two different classes. A couple of students, whom are very problem students were hooked and watched it very quiet. Thank You, And Most Of All "GOD BLESS'! We are urgent to see your next release! You are touching young lives!!
I enjoyed this movie very much. I chuckled, LOL, & Yes, cried. Tears of Sadness, tears of Joy. ~ Very moving & uplifting. I will certainly spread the Word. God Bless You.

We're having a community event at our church...have distributed 200 door knockers, providing childcare and snacks as a movie night for the community here in our little village in WI. Please pray for this to be a start to a revival here in our community. Thank you!!!

The first thing that I can see about this new motion picture is how enthusiastic the producers are about the scriptural basis for it. I absolutely love that. They prayed for one year. Wow! They haven't sold out to the bucks or fame, Wow again! May the Holy Spirit use this movie to bring us to a closer, more intimate and more committed relationship with Him.

I've watched Facing the giants and Fireproof.. great movies.. i am excited to watch "Courageous".. i want my father to watch this movie.. God bless sherwood pictures.. I hope you will make more inspiring movies that will remind every people that there is a God who loves us very much and to give new hope.. =)
This looks like a movie I'll be looking forward to seeing! I am very excited. I am always trying to improve my relationship with my son, so I am interested in seeing this.

I loved the movie it waz sad wen his daughter dies at such a young age. It sent a very powerful message to me that dads should spend more time with there kids. Alot of dads don't. I feel srry for the kids who don't have a father figure to talk to or even ask for advice.

Ahhhhhh! Can you say "BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS"?! I'm SUPER excited. My husband and I have been disagreeing on when we should have kids and how many and so on. He says he doesn't feel comfortable with the idea of raising kids. He's nervous like that. I hope this movie helps him find the man inside himself that I already know is there because I've seen it in him. Hopefully this movie will give him the "courage" to be the father I know he can be. :)
I'm 18 and God called me to study filming a year ago and his guidance is absolutely amazing. Keep going Kendrick! Can't wait to spread the word through cinema even though its a very dark and competitive field. John 3:30 people :D

Funny. I first laughed at all the comments on using another "F" title. I was perfectly happy with y'all breaking the cycle, BUT... I couldn't help but think of "Fearless!" after reading all of these comments.
Onto a more serious note. I have loved your movies. I've been so impressed and encouraged with their messages, so indeed, I would be most honored to be included in your newest project by praying!

@doripete47 Thank you so much and keep the movies coming, I was at my wits end and miserable. Thanks to god pressing and leading me I watch all of the left behind series, and got saved by myself in my tv room. He has changed who I was and I am born again. Praise god for lifting me up and continuously doing his work in my life!!!
I am an unabashed fan of the movies Sherwood Pictures make! A movie has to be pretty good before I will buy a DVD after I see a movie once-- I have bought both Facing The Giants and Love Dare. Finding quality Christian themed movies and entertainment is hard. The Kendrick brothers and the rest of Sherwood Pictures team never disappoint with their movies. I called my hubby and we have a movie date for the new release! :-)
I love Alex & Stephen Kendricks movie's, Christ has Bleesed these guys to spread his word in great movies and the movie Courageous was my favorite so far. I loved all 4 of them but maybe where im a Police Officer and serve Christ is why and I know if not for God I'D be bad off from dealing with such awful and wicked things on a daily basis so many times Christ has saved my live on the job so i'm praying its to spread his word & save souls. Also Casting Crowns are awesome. GODBLESS
I love how every movie they release have a theme that builds upon the previous movie. Flywheel was about what God can do when we accept Christ. Facing the Giants was about what God can do through prayer. Fireproof was about what God can do through marriage. Im guessing this is about what God can do through fathers.

@isurfwky I bet "Fathers" or "Fatherhood" must have been considered. "Fearless" might have been a good double entendre'; at work vs at home. However, I suspect "Courageous" is going to work just fine.

yea.....what is the deal with the new movie not starting with F? I used to work in a movie rental store and those movies were near each other because we placed them in ABC order.
I know, but it's fun to tease them about it. :D Besides, I'm not the only one who noticed all the F titles.
@Casshyr - That's the silliest thing I've ever read! You don't think that ALL movies promote their beliefs & values. We are subjected to movie after movie with no morals, sex with random people, etc. Just like I don't HAVE to see immoral movies, you do not HAVE to see a moral movie!

@Casshyr - Wow, you really are living in Pollyanna land if you don't think that media/entertainment are anti-religious. I am told every day by society through entertainment/news/internet that I am stupid for having religious beliefs or morals. Like I said, the movie is not being forced on you! You don't have to watch a movie about men wanting to be accountable to their children & families...I mean HOW HORRIBLE!
@eliteianw God doesn't want you to be religious. He wants to be your friend, not your idol. He wants to have a father-son relationship, not a master-servant relationship. I know you meant something similar by saying you became "a much more religious Christian," but religion isn't what God wants. I have no religion. I am just simply a follower and friend of Christ. @Casshyr - I don't have a religion. I have a relationship & am truly grateful for what He has done for you & me by using his son, Jesus as the sacrifice for my sins. I believe God loves each one of us & has a plan for us.
@eliteianw With all due respect to you sir (or Ma'am), just wanted to say this to you: I think that the word you are looking for in you secord sentence is you became "more Spiritual Christian", not a "religious", that is a bad word in the Christian community. "Religious christians" don't get saved, Spiritual Christians do. Once again, I apologize and hopefully I did not insulted you in anyway, shape or form. Thank you.
This would be a good thing if the men being influenced were actually truly converted. It can be seen as an exhortation of sorts but using emotions to influence people is not the gospel. Christ left us HIS WORD so that souls may truly be saved. The examples that Christ left us in Scripture are vastly different than just a "moral reformation" of sorts. You don't need a band aid, you need a resurrection! You want times of refreshing to come from God? REPENT AND BE CONVERTED! (ACTS 3:19)
This looks like its going to be another cheesy, cliche and overly sentimental movie with made for tv style acting and production values.
