I’d always wondered why we never saw Dapol release plastic interpretations of the 1st, 5th & 6th Doctors. Thanks for clearing that up - nice to see the 1st Doctor was at least planned and sculpted.
Dapol also re-released the 60's Marx dalek in various colours, probably the only "screen accurate" figure they did, if you count Evil & Planet of the Daleks armies
I spent most of my first 30 years of life growing up and living in North Wales. I remember owning the first wave of these, #BackInTheDay. There used to be a great Doctor Who Exhibition in Llangollen, ând we visited it once, with some friends. Alongside the props, costumes, and TARDIS, there was also a part where they had a room of Dapol factory workers putting some figures together, and even giving a sneak peek of upcoming figures
I’ve already found two Time Lords locally and the Seventh Doctor today at Who North America, in the cream jacket, no umbrella. Which I’ve never seen any of the Dapol figures, for sale at least.

I grew up with the figures they arnt great but in the wilderness years this was all we had. Great video ATB Johnny
