- For my birthday Travelling Man invited me to do my MANGA SHOP IN THEIR WAREHOUSE OH MY GOSH I'M STILL NOT OVER IT
I know I've talked about them before in previous videos but if you are unaware Travelling Man are a comic and games shop based in the North of England with 4 stores in Leeds, Manchester, York and Newcastle and an online store that you can find here! ~ travellingman.com
Instore they do 3for2 on all Viz manga and often have some amazing deals on other manga and light novels too!! Online also has some pretty good deals and dang their shipping turn around is insanely fast!

This was such a wholesome watch - Travelling Man definitely made the right choice to gift this shopping tour to you. You appreciated it so much, you were so respectful and your excited "Oh Yes!" response to the lady saying "They are all in alphabetical order" was so cute ^.^ Your teamwork while discussing and picking series was so lovely and perfect to listen to.
It was also a really interesting watch. It's neat to see how nicely everything is organized in this warehouse - my OCD is loving it! And it seems like they are not using any labels on their shelves? So this is still purely operated by humans knowing where everything is. That's so cool!
Unfortunately, we do not have Travelling Man in Germany :'( But I guess it's just not possible with our strict book prices. But they could sell English books, that would be a dream ^-^

I love how you support not only big sellers but mostly smaller ones and also promote buying 2nd hand! Today I received Daytime Shooting Star - I got the complete series 2nd hand for 4 € per book and they are in perfect condition. GUYS, buy 2nd hand, it's so good! And fun :)

There were some labels but some were peeling and some were just at the end of the shelves.
TM still aren't that big and I think maybe the costs of shipping abroad is putting them off a bit? Its been a lot more tricky to send things in and out the country since Brexit 😫😭

@@Caketinz Thank you!!! I mean, the retail prizes for the German editions are cheaper in general, but 4 € was still a really good deal.
Yup, Brexit was aweful for us European collectors! And my partner and I keep forgetting about it over and over again! I have no idea how many times we have now ordered books or vinyls from the UK just to have to pay taxes while our package was held "hostage" by our post 😢But I will visit York and Scarborough this summer and hopefully I can find a Travelling Man store there ^.^ My Kamisama Kiss collection is missing a LOT of volumes!

The promised land 😍 Excited for you to read banana fish it’s SO GOOD. I have been eyeing Beastars but I have too many other things going on to commit to getting it all yet. I’m loving all the box sets, sometimes I just want to get stuff in one bulk and just binge it 😂 I think the key thing people miss in the YBC discussion stuff is that it’s an over the top comedy, I enjoyed it because it’s fun because of how stupid it is. If you like purposely crazy over the top dumb stuff with smut mixed in then it’s for you 😂 I think people go in expecting romance and there is some but also chaos

Yarichin is a comedy series (5 volumes in Japanese and 4 volumes in English) and I am missing the odd numbered volumes in Japanese though I have already read the entire series in English after watching the first OVA. Great haul and video as well.
Does anyone knows if they ship to the USA? Because if they do I would love to shop from their store via website (I can't find any information about that that's why I'm asking)
I got volume's 1 and 2 of dont toy with me miss nagatoro, kiju#8 volume 5 , call of night volume 5,6 7,8,9,10 otw . I should have them by this monday, I also got volume 4 of call of night that i need to pick up out to my nan's as well .And on the 16th ill be ordering volume's 3 and 4 of dont toy with me miss nagatoro.
🥲in my country if I stayed in the book store for more than 10 minutes they would kick me out im surprised you can search for books for 30 minutes i once took about 7 minutes in a book store cuz I couldn't find the book that i wanted the owner yelled at me😶

I had never heard of this company before!!! I have saved their website now. They have the whole Finder Manga series bar one book.....I cannot!!!! And so much cheaper than Amazon.....especially for BL which are usually about £12-15. I would go so crazy if I was in there buying merch and manga!!! The One Piece figures! I saw a Nami one that I want on your video!
Yes!! Most BL I've picked up has come from Travelling Man cause the prices are so good!

I like Traveling man been to their stores a few times, my only problem with them is they don't tend to stock older series.
I feel thats as much due to the publishers as it is the stores. Though a bunch of older series have been reprinted the past few months which is nice
But it takes a few months to get over to the UK from my experience

I'd say Dr Stone is a good one! Plus if he likes videos games there are a fair few tie ins. There is a looot of pokemon manga series. Kirby has one too and Persona 5. As does a selection of Disney like Toy Story and Pirates of the Caribbean. And Star Wars! So many tie ins 🤣
If he's into sports there is likely a manga around it I've been reading Blue Lock recently and liking it there is some swearing in it though.
Also also also theres a couple of sets of manga that could even be educational! Manga classics which are manga retellings of classic stories like Dickens and Shakespeare. I did Macbeth when I was doing my GCSEs and there is a manga version of that. There is also a set called 'Manga Guide to..' which is educational manga that I used for both GCSEs and ALevels. So definitely a bit off but still interesting to look at!!!!
