Thanks for posting, very good video.
Are there any websites or other sources of info you can recommend on board building? Especially the vacuum set up. 👍👍😁

    Hey mate!
I just got a new board and I want to customize my foot-strap position/angle. My question is how would you bind hard plastic (foot-straps) to a finished board without using the original holes?
    Thanks in advanced!

I think you've got two options there. For a permanent fit, but risk of damaging your new board, you could drill holes for your new bolt positions, fit captive threaded units in the holes and refill with epoxy resin. Not sure how strong that would be though.
I have seen online that someone sells stick on pads with bolt holes in for attaching straps to surfboards. Might work for you!
      Good luck

Cheers! I used 3 layers of 210g glass fibre cloth on each side of the board.

Hi James it is a really good video thank you, May I ask how did you build the "rocker table" ?

      Hi Ceyhun,
It's a strong frame of 2 x 4 timber, with threaded steel rods through the frame, spaced every couple of inches or so.
Then the large 1.5mm steel sheet is on top of the frame and steel rods.
With large washers on the threaded steel rods and nuts for adjustment, you can adjust the rocker of the steel sheet on the table.
Sorry I can't take any pictures at the mo, it's buried under a load of stuff in my garage.

@@Jumbunglai'd love to see photos or video of this rocker table!! Would like to make my own board.
Wondering how the steel sheet interfaces with the rods/frame..

Paul Neumann, the ride is great, just what I was after, nice and flexible, great in the chop. The only thing I'd change is getting proper pads and straps, but I cheaped out. Might change them soon.
