I love Poofesure yelling at Dry Bones because Dry Bones was always my favorite character when I would play this game for hours, haha. Also, fuck that boat mini game at 10:00 and the monkey minigame at 11:40, I never won those.
I was 100% fully expecting the last star to be minigame star and poof thinking he had it in the bag only to realize that the 193 coins from Cut from the Team counted towards it and he literally got screwed by the RNG minigame.
I thought that Toad and Toadette were going to tie, but Toadette would end up winning because she had more coins; Poof forgot about it and was fully expecting to win, only for Toadette to show when the smoke and confetti clears. Imagine the rage afterward.
I just played this game on Christmas with my family 🥺! My dad won (he rarely wins) and he was sooo happy! It was very wholesome :)) Love your videos, Poof! It’s nice to see someone else also still plays Wii !!

11:40 for anyone else who has played Mario Party 8, you have to understand that Flip the Chimp is like the worst minigame in Mario Party minigames, the motion controls don’t work most of the time, and the monkey is slow as sh*t.

He was actually performing extremely well in the minigames here, the only ones he didn't win were (besides a few exceptions) the 2v2s with the awful AI. I've never actually played, but this was hard mode soooo
I thought you were never going to come back to this. But the next time you do you should try teams because they give them funny team names when they're together. I mean it's not as fun as single but still pretty funny to see the team names in my opinion. It also brings back memories from when I used to play.(I would love to be Dry Bones.) I'm really glad you decided to come back after almost a year later though.
Chuggaaconroy reminded me of this recently, the reason old games look awful and fuzzy is because the developers were taking advantage of the CRT television’s display to crispen the quality despite the hardware’s limitations of the console. LED monitors don’t have the same effect!
Real talk this is my favorite Mario party game. The fact it has a story mode blows me away, the mini games are fun, the boards have so much life in them, and the icing on the cake the animations in the game are great at that time.

Play Mario party 8 koopa tycoon it’s like a game in it of itself where you have to bid on hotels which give you stars. Simple but super fun change to the formula
I rembered this game when I was young, I used to play it with my uncle and my sister, and I enjoyed playing this game, gosh time flies so fast and it's close to hitting 2023 now. This was such good times.
