Every time I click on a video with these guys, I'm pleasantly impressed about how dimensional they are and how they were able to cross the sphere or genre of hard rock/heavy metal. I'm rediscovering this band. I didn't know this about them when they broke in the eighties...
The meaning is that we have all fallen short of the glory of God, and have broken God's law, but by having faith in the finished work on the cross by Jesus we can be saved by grace through faith!

Stryper is back! Would love to see the rest of this concert. The performance and sound quality here is absolutely incredible! The vocal and guitar harmonies are absolutely riveting! Can't wait to hear the the band's new release entitled "The Covering" due out this February. Would be something to see this band re-visit the big productions they enjoyed in the 1980's.
I remember going with them to Gazarri's on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood (now the Key Club). This was always one of my favorite covers. Still is. Thank you!

I am a Christian man, I am a contemporary age wise of Stryper. I have followed their career since they first released the "Yellow and Black Attack" EP. For EVERY Christian person who is judging this cover song as "a disgrace" or whatever- needs to re-assess their finger pointing which is what's REALLY wrong with Christianity today. They are simply laying down a tribute to the bands that made them who they became. Judge not lest ye be Judged and FYI Priest has had many lyrics based in scripture.

I have followed Stryper since '85. I have always thought they were talented musicians working for the Lord. With all their great songs, WHY play other musicians songs that have nothing to do consistent with God's message??? Am I the only one confused? I am constantly reminded "What does light and darkness have in common??? Michael Sweet, please be consistent in your message! Is it all about us or is about HIM? God deserves all the glory! ...not man. Please continue to do the Lord's work.
