      There is something to be said about listening, as well as feeling, the rhythm of MotherAfrica. Its as if there is a reminding...a tapping into that we✊🏾 are unable / I Am unable to put into plain english/american words. Its a true reminder, that we are not Spiritually so far removed.     I remember my best days in primary school.....this was my favorite activity. Our school went to National level in this music, I was a soloist and at the same time I was the one introducing my school..... I am proud of my culture ❤️❤️❤️💯

Tribes are not forever things evolve. they have each other now they do not need us. they are stronger if they work together by themselves.

      I always felt a strong connection to South Africa where the Bantu peoples come from. After doing a little digging I found out that my grandmother 8 generations back came from Mozambique which is in South Africa.

    This reminds me of when we used to perform in the Kenya schools' music festivals. Performing a Maasai dance/song always had a really strong emotional effect. It is unexplainable.

      Lady , 100% they practiced this in less traditional clothing and wore only their best for the ceremonial presentation.

      @@rainbowpandasays8851 these are villagers so this is their traditional clothing that they wear everyday.This is a traditional song and ceremonial dance.They didn’t have to rehearse or practice for this.It’s a part of their culture from birth.They may have chosen their position and places in line, but not the song or ceremonial performance itself.They are singing about cows,which Masai’s believe Enkai gave them all the cows of the world to possess.

      These are the original Egyptians. When those that decry the lost history in Egyptian busts of old start reading ancient books, they will realize that these people's history is only told in War. The Art of War, the Prince...hell all civilizations bow down to these people. Just listen to Selassie who governed an ancient kingdom barely a thousand miles from them. He cried War to the end.

    Wow the sound and the moves both complement each other very well. One thing special about African dance and songs you have to feel them and have some deeper connection to do those beautiful moves. The rhythm and every thing you have to feel it in my culture we call that ihlombe. Love the maasai people their beautiful calture.
