First of all let me congratulate you 3 on the anniversary of the start of the A.T. last Feb.21st. I've been following you ever since because you are simply fascinating ladies. The hikers starting now have experienced some challenging weather. Again, your video is beautiful and informative. What a great island!! Brought back great memories of my biking days, that I really miss. That was a flat trail but sandy soil is really hard to pedal through. Great job. Enjoyed the flock of "wonder birds." Take care, be safe.
@@demelar It's been a pleasure and you have given us so many places of interest to see if we vacation along Florida at some time. And, we didn't have to do the homework!!!
When you said 18 miles oneb2ay on a mtn bike, my first thought was oh boy that is going to be rough. Sand is the worst! Looks beautiful though! I bet your bums were SORE!!!!
It's recommended to make a reservation but a few people were able to walk on. If you plan to bring a bike you should make one because there needs to be enough room on the Ferry. We made our reservation about 5 days prior. It costs an extra $10 bucks to bring your bike but can rent one for $16. Or just hike, there are tons of hiking trails
Was a day of bike riding harder than a day of hiking the AT? You all get around to a lot of adventures.. That looks like a nice place. It would be nice to go there to swim maybe and not ride as far on the bikes.
You Wander Women are so funny! Your videos brighten my day so much! Cumberland Island is beautiful! That's the church where JFK Jr got married. You probably know that. Thanks for sharing ladies!
Oh! I wonder if the Wander Women were on Cumberland Island the same time IceBear and Senior Hiker 77 (something like that) were backpacking on the island? If so, it would have been cool for everyone to meet! :)
I enjoy your vlogs so much. You girls are truly Feral! Not sure if you are headed north by way of coast, but if so, Darian, Brunswick and Savannah are sweet Georgia jewels worth visiting. Stay safe and keep on smiling!
Only you guys would talk about how tired you are and that you over did it - all while planning more in the last hour+ before the ferry. LMBO! You guys are awesome!
Savannah! I can recommend The Crab Shack, Pearls. River Street (Praline’s at River Street Sweets). Forsyth Park, a wonderful place to ride bikes! Not far from Skiddaway State Park.
I love your videos. You all look like you are having so much fun and have a great sense of humor. I really wish I had started to follow your AT journey sooner than I did. I really hope to meet you when you come up to the NH area. Your videos always bring a smile to my face!
Wonderful video!! My old stomping grounds. The Golden Isles of Ga. are just glorious! I could smell the sea breeze as I watched. I hope you're stopping in Savannah. It is such a lovely city.
@@wanderwomenkristyannette5021 be careful in Savannah, it's beautiful....but I have rolled my ankles every time I been there...the cobblestone streets are ruthless
I remmebe going to Emory for “a talk” about the impact i the island and studies they did about a footprint, a bicycle etc (this was before they allowed bicycles into the wilderness, not that long ago… and fight de it and ther access (before the land and legacy tours). There never use to be any access unless you amped or stayed at greyfield.
Sitting in SFO airport watching you guys on my phone. You guys make me laugh. Aloha
Nice adventure ladies!❤
That looks like an awesome trail. Thanks for sharing.
Wow...you find the best places! So sorry you did not have the best weather. Fun day none the less! Thanks for taking us all along again!!
Hi Alyson. Mostly it was good weather...just a bit wet at the tail end of the day.
@@demelar no matter the weather you all seem to have fun!!😁

Very sore.
You all crack me up! I take it Lynn decided to skip the second act. You are inspirational.
She was there just got cold at the end and was trying to warm up.
You all are amazing 😉 I love your zest for life ❤️
What a fun adventure! Makes me want to get a bike.
You should get a bike. 🙂
When I saw the trail I wondered about the wisdom of such a long ride. I know I couldn't do it.
Nice. A bunch of us UA-camrs did a colab hike there 2 weeks ago.
So cool. Did y'all have to reserve a spot on the ferry or were you able to just walk on? You guys always have the most fun. Wander on ladies.

It was not even close to the difficulty of the AT.
Good idea. Next time a little less biking and a little more beaching!
Thanks for sharing. Have you tried camping on the island?
We haven't.
Are electric bikes allowed? What was the music?
Yes, electric bikes were allowed. I used the music from the video making app. Kinemaster.
Thank you for sharing.. cold and wet.. not good but yall persevered!! Stay feral!!!❤

Really good video. The Island is very beautiful. Thanks for taking us on a wonderful biking adventure. Take Care and Keep Exploring The Outdoors.
Beautiful, will detour there the next time we go to Florida!

This looks like a blast! What a interesting island!
Another excellent video ladies! By the looks of facial expressions, I'm not sure your friend is going to come along on your next biking adventure!
She actually did well and loved it but got very cold at the end.

Behind your picnic table, in front of “the church” was my husbands home. We eventually ended up ear greyfield. Quite a bike ride!
