Satchel Grande - "Shake It Like It's Overload" (Drum Cover/Interpretation)

Footnotes:
1 - I used a program called Moises for this cover/interpretation (and many that are yet to come). It allowed me to remove the drums from the track. This was not done 1) because I think I have better parts to play or 2) because I don't think their current drummer does a good job but rather because I play some different grooves which would then sound muddled and weird since I'm not playing what was recorded. And many of these songs by Satchel that I've covered unfortunately kind of sound that way. I may go back and redo them.
2 - New crash cymbal. The old one (Meinl 19" Pure Alloy Custom Medium Thin Crash) developed a crack and I was never terribly married to its sound. The new one - Istanbul Agop 21" Xist Dry Dark Brilliant Crash - doesn't crash as loud, so I was looking at it as a sort of "am I sure I didn't really hear it?". Which it obviously comes through the mics which ultimately that's all that matters!

4 - For reasons that have not only escaped me but alienated me, I kept hitting the novo china right after the crash. So, I laughed at myself. A weird tick - in time. But a weird tick nonetheless.
5 - That, my friends, is the face of "I have no idea what that ["fill"] was."
6 - I don't remember exactly what I said, but I was about 2 minutes away from having to leave to pick up my wife to go see Dune Part II. I think it was about that. (By the way, GREAT film.)
7 - Okay, a few things: 1) the Moises program removed the drums which then removed the tamborine part here which is why it's not heard. To compensate, I opted for a looser mounted hi-hat sound. 2) There are probably times where different instruments or vocals sound slightly off. That can happen when you remove the drums with a program like that and not the actual tracks (which I, obviously, don't have.)
8 - If you notice just before this, my hand almost completely removes its grip from the stick. The stick started to feel "hollow" (indicative of it about to break). I almost swapped out at that time, but waited until here.
