Do you think this 1.0 engine can last as long as your 1.4 in the Golf? This is an expensive car, it has to move past 5 years.

It’s hard to say, it might be well optimised, but I guess time will tell…
I’m actually surprised by how my 1.4 is surviving, currently sitting on 177 000km and still going strong, going for its next service at 180 000km
