Cinderella - Wonderful Fairytales - Efteling

Do you visit the fairytale 'Cinderella' in the Fairytale Forest at Efteling? In this video, the enchanting story comes to life! What's your favorite fairytale?
The fairytale in brief:
Once upon a time, there was a woman who had a loving daughter. Just before her mother died, the girl promised to always live a good life. Not long after, her father married an unkind woman with two mean daughters. Real bullies! As the father was always traveling, he didn't notice how the girl was tormented by her stepsisters. She had to sleep by the hearth, and they called her Cinderella. Then they sang, 'Cinder-wench, you're so odd, with cobwebs in your hair. Polish my shoes, scrub and clean, and then prepare the meal!' She did everything without complaining, as she had promised her mother... One day, the king announced a grand ball at the palace. The prince would choose a girl to marry. Would Cinderella also be allowed to go to the ball?

Dit is de meest prachtigste sprookje van de sprookjesbos!!

In 2006 werden er zelfs, net als overigens alle sprookjes daar, uitgezonden 'De Zes Dienaren', speelfilms gemaakt van die sprookjes en dus ook van Assepoester. De desbetreffende Assepoester moest toen, in het voormalige huis van Vrouw Holle, op haar knieën de vloer schoonmaken en dat vindt ik juist het mooiste aan Assepoester!
