It is stunning isn't it!? Hahaha thanks brother, appreciate that. I like to draw but that was just a quick sketch, working on trying to do better stuff but we will see. My drawings are always a little cartoony😂
I think King’s best books turned into movies are the ones based on his short stories. So will see with this one. The Queen sounds great! Love Robert McCammon but I haven’t tried Speaks the Nightbird, can’t wait for your review.
Ending my October with three middle grade horror novels: Graveyard Shift by Chris Westwood; Dare to be Scared by Robert D. San Souci (which I will probably also be reading to the boys around the fire at night in the winter months), and the second of two Goosebumps: Wanted: The Haunted Mask. Just finished Slappy Beware! One of the best Goosebumps I read, and my joy intrigued the thirteen-year-old enough to start reading it tonight. I love sharing books. I've got an Autumn MM Rom-Com on my KU (LET LEAVES LAY WHERE THEY FALL by MIcah Carver) that I read while waiting for the boys to get out of appointments. Also finished Clayton Snyder's Cold West at your recommendation. Had a lot of fun with that novella. While I have my November TBR picked out, I have no clue which I want to start with. There are three books in that stack I am eager to start.
That is awesome my friend! You are having a great reading stretch. And how cool that you are sharing your love of reading with your kids!!! I freaking LOVE hearing that!!!
Wow, those Ben Galley books look really cool! Also, love the new book releases, though at this point my TBR will never recover (particularly given SPFBOX)! And that special edition of The Dragonbone Chair is GORGEOUS. That's a great book, too--highly recommended. I'll admit I'm really intrigued by the concept of a renegade soldier-assassin successfully masquerading as a bard. And you have a gardening, tea-drinking, book-loving orc?? Cool! Have you read John A. Douglas's The Black Crown? It's really wonderful, and he has a bookish half-orc prince as a protagonist.
@MichaelRSchultheiss I know, aren't they pretty!!! Can't wait to read them all! Hahaha never enough time😂 Thanks man! I'm excited about it! I have Johns book, another gorgeous cover! Haven't read it read but soon!
Those drawings are awesome! I cannot wait for this book!
