I looked it up because I love learning something new. Matthew 1:1 Jesus refers to the book if the generations. Book in Greek is biblos which is where the word bible is derived. So it was then called this going forward. Trinity isn't in the bible but yet others interpret God, Christ, holy ghost as the Trinity. It's all about interpretation.
