SMT: Gotta fuse 'em all!
One of the best demons is Michael because he repels all Magic and has no weakness, if you give him Void Death he can only be hurt by physical or almighty. You could also give him Void Mind to make sure he never gets charmed etc.
One method is missing to get demons: When your Main char is cursed you can get spezial Demons. You can sometimes get cursed when a magatamas gives you an abillity instead of healing you for example.

It's best to negotiate during full Kagutsuchi, actually. Just keep talking to non Dark/Light aligned demons and you'll get to answer one question for a chance to recruit the demon of choice, even demons like Will o' Wisp and Preta who can't normally be talked to. There is the chance of just being attacked and also a chance that you'll only get Macca or items, but it's definitely worth it to wait until a full moon before recruiting a particularly troublesome demon

Fantastic video this is exactly what I have been looking for as far as understanding fusion. You should do a video of the magatama and the pros and cons of magic vs physical abilities and so fourth and leveling up as far as stat allocation.

The demons don't like a pushover when you are negotiating. If you give them everything they want, most of the tougher ones will think you are weak. I have found that during a negotiation what works is: agree, deny, agree. Or agree, deny, agree, deny, agree. Basically, don't be too agreeable. Deny them once or twice and they will think you are worth following. And many will ask you a philosophical question and you need to sorta read the temperment of the demon and tell it what it wants to hear to get them on your side.

Just the video I needed
Imagine my horror when I realized i could inherit a lot more skills than I thought i could until i was lv 45.
As a newcomer to the series I was used to P4 and 5 and SMTV that'd either put all of the skills infront of me or would force me to inherit them but in nocturne you have a hidden submenu that I neglected for over 40 hours of gameplay.
Getting nightmares just thinking about it
Interesting though I still don't know how to fuse the best bloody demons! Other than looking up the combination. I'm also playing Devil Survivor 2 which has the most simplistic process and shows u path to unique demons.
Huh. Honestly not sure if they changed it for hd, but I'm pretty sure the philosophical questions are completely random. That is, it doesn't matter the demon's alignment/race/species, and when they ask a question, the game just arbitrarily picks a "right" and "wrong" answer. Kinda wish I could run it on emulator to do some consistent testing, but them's the breaks. Now what does usually work when used correctly are demons' talk skills, particularly beseech (chance to recruit significantly higher lv demons than the speaker) on a low level shikigami from what I've seen of speedruns of the game.
As much as my inner mythology buff cries in anguish at incubi telling me to stay in school and not do drugs, I do enjoy the individuality that the developers tried to portray, especially with smt's hodgepodge of a universe and multiple examples of unique entities (lilith or nyx for example)
Well I find out something very stupid and strange, I'm playing in emulator and I quick save every time I'm recruiting, and the stupid part is that some enemy just say say same shit and leave even if you choose any answer,
Example: I choos yes the demon just take my money and fuck off,
I choose no and same things happened lol, it's just bullshit because there is no much information about these time westing random mechanics

How do I fuse a Mother Harlot?
I can't get her and I don't find anything related to her fusion
Use the smt fusion calculator, it lists every possible fusion for every demon
Lol I’ve lost tens of thousands of macca because a demon said “screw you” and ditched me last second during a negotiation

How i fuse Belzebud?
I have a question, when I fused Beelzebub I could only give him two skills that I wanted, how can I give him more?
As memory serves me, if you max out skills acquired through leveling up on a demon’s fusion fodder, it increases the number of skills inherited. Let me know if that helps!
