It is really cool! But the evaporated lake part is kinda scary! However if there was a statue in it wasn’t always a lake there probably

This is fascinating. I just always feels there’s a story missing. How did they carve volcanic statutes? Where is the volcano? Why are these so big? Could these statues actually be petrified remains of some kind? How did they decide where to place the statues? Stay curious

Have they ever looked passed the island a bit to see if there's any out there? Always thought that if they were there long enough maybe it shrunk down in size

It's unsettling that a lake can disappear in less than two years. And there are large lakes in Africa that have evaporated in a relatively short amount of time as well.

How does stone melt from a bare land scape? Something is not adding up.

Guess this Moai was taking a swim when the lake suddenly evaporated, 800 hundred years ago. Or was it more like, 8 thousand years ago?

The Egyptians believed in giants the achent samarians believed in giants the Jews believed in giants, and honestly, most religions on earth just about believed in giants, now barring that in mind lets talk about sacrifices and how so many also believed in sacrificing animals and humans to a God or Gods, even the native Americans like the Maya, Aztec ,Inca did this half way around the world, I would also be curious if these people also did sacrificial worship? Now let's bear in mind they are in one of the most remote places on earth, so outside human influence is just not possible given the technology of this time, all of those things leads my to a conclusion of other worldly influce, who influenced such worship on mankind, it's the only explanation for so many different peoples and cultures to have come up with such simular ideas about worshiping, a God or Gods, the existence of giants, sacrificial appeasement of the Gods and so many other similarities. but most had never met in those times, seeing this all it does for me is cement this idea even further into my mind. Then you add in all the different construction like pyramids and stuff that also couldn't have been done by these primitive inhabitants because they didn't have those technologies to construct such things and yeah you start to realize something or someone had the ability to navigate this earth and even land in remote places like this.

Those statues are idols (worshipping of ancestors) and the former inhabitants of that land were idol worshippers. Please read the Holy Bible kjv to learn more.
