However, I see the changes that have been made in Minnesota, especially in the education department, and it’s been wonderful. It’s a good time to live in Minnesota and I’m happy to see someone who aided that become VP

Minnesota has always had its finger on the pulse of the people. ALL people. We were lucky to have Mark Dayton as a governor and when he left for the Senate, I worried about who would be our next governor. And then we got Tim Walz. As a Black Minnesotan I learned he was cut from the same cloth as Dayton. Like Dayton, he proved he would show up in the spaces where Black folks were to talk about our concerns.
