Come on people. Have some respect for these men. They're original. They didn't copy styles. No matter what anyone says, they are a success in their own right. In terms of Rap, they should be respected like Muhammed Ali. Young ones will never appreciate them like we did. They have no clue. I've been into Bone since 95 when I saw first of the month music vid, I was hooked. They're just unique n awesome n I'll always hold respect for them no matter what.

I could listen to Layzie Bone speak all day, such a smooth voice that's captivating.
Though I do detect some anger and frustration, I do not believe that these men are being arrogant and unreasonable by asking to be acknowledged for the contributions they have made to rap/hip-hop. It is frustrating when your hard-work is not acknowledged and you are forced to sit back and watch people take credit for and benefit from your creativity. They are absolutely correct. No one was successfully marrying rap/hip-hop, R&B, and gospel elements into songs. That can be attributed to Bone Thugs and Harmony alone. It is not so much the monetary aspect that concerns them as it is the desire to secure their place in history and leave a legacy. I dislike when people try to make people feel guilty for asking for acknowledgment when it is deserved. I am a person that believes in giving credit where credit is due. It has to do with integrity and fairness, plain and simple.

I wasn't a big fan of hip hop back in the day but these guys were and still are my favorate hip hop groups - ever! They really did revolutionize the music business, not only in hip hop but in R&B. They were the first to bring that fast sychronization and phrasing to the beat! Yeah!

Then, 6 yrs later I was listening to it in Dominican Republic. And I'm still listening to o t now. So, they must be doing something more than right. Something perfect for everyone.
