- Today Architectural Digest is welcomed by Winnie Harlow to tour her glamorous Hollywood home. Having lived in rented apartments her whole life, the supermodel bought her first home in Los Angeles after relocating from New York for the heat and sunshine. This being her first home she was excited to get designing with AD100 authority Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The neutral base of the house layered with soft textures and dramatic accents come together to create a calming sanctuary for Winnie to kick back and relax. “It’s the first house I’ve ever lived in and it is a lot of work,” she says. “Nothing is ever done. There’s always something to do-something to fix or build-but I am up for it all.”

Exactly!... and evidently people don't listen. Her *designer* insisted on using her photos as a wallpaper. The fact that she gave them liberty to design means she trusted their vision.
She should have just said "I'm in love with myself, so you're going to see pictures of me EVERYWHERE in this tour. Buckle up."

I´m a big fan of Winnie, glad she has been a few times here in Brazil. Loved her house and, as a fan of Martyn, I have to confess they worked a lot togheter to achieve this wonderfull cozy place.

The fun thing about a black and white pallette is when you start adding those pops of color and touches of unique art that can really grow the space's personality as you live in it. Its the canvas, and knicknacks are the paint!. I really love the airiness of the spaces and the fixtures she used, although with two barfingcats I willnever be able to do white carpets, lol 😅😅😅

The thing with these videos is you can kinda tell which celebrities own their forever homes and which ones are just passing through. Take that however you want. But this is one that is either staged just for the video or she's planning on selling and moving later. The decor to some of these are so similar that it just seems they want them to be prepped for potential buyers. Well I guess that also explains the AD interview. Some do it for promotion too though. I like the powder room as that was the only thing not whitewashed. She said she loves color...where is it???

Such a cool house! So many interesting and fun things to look at! I love color as well but I agree with her for not going too crazy in her house and wanting more relaxed atmosphere.. she does pops of color with art, also using different textures and geometric shapes adds plenty of interest and playfulness!

The house is nice but I was expecting the interior design to tell a story... A story of who she is and that story definitely wasn't written here lol. Each room is so different even tho the colorway is similar but the styles and patterns are confusing. It's like when u think you got her figured out, the next room hits you with a curve ball. I was the same way for a very long time In my previous apartment a few years back, I had a music room because I wanted to be a beat maker lmao, I had a Celtics basketball room, and I had a glam girly room all in the same house 🤣 lol I was just into so much it depended on my mood what I was gonna do for that day. However as we get older the people around us change, our thought process changes, our styles and interests change. Ijs It's a lovely house and she is definitely blessed by the Gods. 🖤
