That really was an awesome watch from a learning point and also you rocked it.
Loved it! And so educational
Wow! what a great instructor Fred is...
Great video Em! Wow, great training. Lots of dressage will improve the rhythm and gear control. You know she can jump, now refine it all with your dressage.
Loved Fred's teaching, everything he said made so much sense! Top job Emily, Addie's going to be so exciting!
Brilliant camp! And kudos to Fred for letting you film, and wearing a mic! You can see a huge difference in Addie, she getting a bit sassy now she knows what she's doing!! 😂
I don't know if you've ever had personal training for your own fitness but you never feel like you are getting anywhere because the PT keeps upping the ante. This mare is really showing some scope and ability and you are literally having to go from one teaching issue to the next. Can feel like there is no improvement but my word she is truly getting there and the wonderful thing is that you too are learning with her. It is how we build such incredible partnerships. One thing, if she is digging holes whilst you talk I would tap her down her shoulder or tighten a rein in order to get her attention back on you. She's a mare, which mean she thinks all the time, just get her back to thinking about you. Great Tutor, great camp. Novice BE in no time.
Awesome both of you, very well done xx 💗
Fred’s analogy of changing gears is fantastic and logical. Emily you’re truly a very intuitive rider, you take all of the advice onboard, stick to it and remember it! What a great video of brilliant horsemanship all round
The BEST weekend! (And totally biased of course but, IMO, we definitely had the best group 🤣) So lovely to watch you and Addie - such an exciting combination and future x
Love Fred - he's pretty tough but so good and kind - really good job both of you! The angles were amazing - your leg was very good - thank you for posting this very educational learned a lot
Absolutely loved this and learnt so much from being able to clearly hear Fred! Thank you for sharing ❤️🙌🏻
Wow! What a great camp - and amazing how my h she has improved since last year!! I love the “don’t flap!” 😂😂😂❤❤❤
so so interesting, really glad the mics are so clear and we can hear what Fred says. Incredible achievement!
Awesome! 👍 Love to watch the training sessions. They can be so interesting
Wll Done !!! Can not wait for Moreton !! You can do this !!!
so awesome, love Fred! Wow what a difference from last year. Way to go Em and Addie!
your smile on the straight line at the end says it all
Great vlog. A lot of what Fred said made so much sense. Addie did so well bless her. As did you. X
It looks like a group session was very beneficial, more like a real event with lots of horses about. Good practice for a looky loo girly. Everything is new and exciting.
You are becoming a great team….have a fantastic season..
Omg, I was riding every gear with you there and I'm now out of breath!! What a fabulous trainer and well done to the both of you. You have an exciting partnership ahead for sure x
Fred is such a brilliant instructor! Well Done!
Well done!! You look fabulous! And I loved the ‘you need to be a library’ and ‘operation statue’ analogies when approaching the fence. Brilliant advice from Fred.
Lessons stress me out so bad. My shoulders are on my ears. I don't know how y'all do it!!
Hi Emily you and Addie did fantastic what a maturing pair you two are becoming.and Fred is a wonderful trainer I was sat on my chair riding with you lol and counting 123 123 123 🤣🤣. You’ll certainly sleep well tonight. The training you girls are getting is making you all ride so much better plus more confident.
Really interesting vlog - thank you! Justine Ward at Nar Valley Bloodhounds said something that really resonated with me “Eliminate the fiddle”. I say it to myself, intermittently with counting strides, when I jump - so much to do, so little time!
You are on a journey and it's great to watch you both progressing. Well done.
I’m exhausted too well done xx
WOW!! Y'all did WOW!! 😁🥰
Great vid! Thanks for sharing. I have a mare very much like Addie, there's always some takeaways in your videos that I can apply to our own training.😊
What an amazing partnership you have become. Bright future ahead xx
Hey.....from the USA ! Excellent eventing camp....loads to learn....lots of fun with a real fine instructor ( especially when he had your horses name and sex wrong...! ). Thanks for sharing.....good luck with your upcoming shows ! Cindy
Very keen!
Loving watching your journey, I have a similar temperament horse and this was so useful to watch. What breed is Addie?
Wow!!
@Annie horse girl Hey
I think the crux of the xc (#2 lesson) was to teach Addie. arguing isn't going to work, and you staying consistent with your body reinforcing what is acceptable.
Tina did a evnting camp and she look stunning so do u em Addie looks stunning and u are both coming along nicely
What happened at the end? 😳
Just excellent! Stop beating yourself up Emjly! Your inner dialogue sometimes gets outta hand! You know what to do with it!
