Absolute Legend! I would give a million likes if I could. D light been flashing occasionally in my 2007 Honda Stream and got it scanned today as P0847 B. Found this video, got exactly the same part as you showed and installed it in 5 mins. Just the best video and you saved me literally hundreds of dollars. Thanks!!
I had to order a set of second and third gear pressure switches and the new ones came as one brownish in color like in your video and a black one do you know which one I should put at the top and which one at the bottom?
@@acetechauto7 do you have any idea what these codes are? P0420, P0325, P0780, P1733 shift era, P0848. One of them I replaced already. Transmission fluid pressure switch. Trying to find out what the other 4 are that popped up
@DJ-du1mf the p0420 is the catalytic converter, the p0325 is the knock sensor, and the other codes are for shift malfunction and pressure faults within the transmission. Most likely you’re going to need a new transmission or rebuild it.
I just got this code with a flashing D on my 2011 accord v6 and it said the exactly same thing on my scan tool. Will the location be similar for me ? Of the sensor?
I got a check engine light on code reader says it p0848 same as what you have however i dont have the D light flashing. The mechanic cleared the code and it hasnt returned. Should i replace it anyways? Thanks
If it hasn’t come back I would recommend changing the transmission fluid if you haven’t done it yet. Otherwise if that’s new then just wait and see if it comes back and then change it.
Yes it’ll be in the same location underneath the car the last oxygen sensor on the exhaust after the catalytic converter is going to be your secondary oxygen sensor
Thanks for this video! I have the exact same problem with my 2011 Honda Civic. Where did you purchase the 28600-P7W-013 ? I can’t seem to find a legit website online.
Yes that is regarding an issue with the same switch. I would change the switch and change out the transmission fluid as well. You should be ok driving for now

Thank you for watching I’m glad it worked out for you. Good work!

Would this work for the second gear? Please respond thansk!
Yes it would work for second gears also. That one is located on the top towards the back under the air filter box.
How many transmission pressure switches is there? My daughter has a 2009 Honda crv. I replaced one of them but car still doing same thing
There are 2 switches you might’ve maybe replaced the other one.

Yes that would be on the bottom
Thanks for this👍🏽very informative
No problem glad it helped you out!
I just got this code with a flashing D on my 2011 accord v6 and it said the exactly same thing on my scan tool. Will the location be similar for me ? Of the sensor?
Hi yes it should be in the same location right above the vin number tag on the transmission.

Should this be same location on a 2009 CR-V? Got the same P0847 code.

I got it directly from Honda
Is this something that has to be fixed immediately?
I would do it sooner rather than later so you don’t do any damage to the transmission.
@@acetechauto7 oh ok thank you
is P0848 of relation, and would driving for just a few hours cause it more problems?
Yes that is regarding an issue with the same switch. I would change the switch and change out the transmission fluid as well. You should be ok driving for now
Is this related to code p0484 by any chance? I replace the switch and I’m still getting the same code..
P0484 is not related to that. That’s for an issue with your cooling fans.
