I think he still has some learning to do like every rookie cb , they got to be carful with hand placement some days refs are having bad days and will throw flags , him , woolen, Derek stingly, you know who I never hear about even tho he’s having a sneak good year kaiir Elam, they are all pretty good this year
Lol keep crying, it isn’t holding and some of these plays he’s closing in on the defender who has a few steps so those aren’t holds but the ones you’re claiming is “holding” is the receiver makes contact and tugs at him and at that point the defender is allowed to get a little handsy back and every CB does it, you’re just mad when it’s Sauce doing it
Sauce, 7 games in, is on pace for 29 Pass Defenses, 2 Ints, and 58 Solo Tackles (80 Combined). His Forced Incompletion rate is 25%, the next closest is Trevon Diggs at 17.5%. His 42% completion rate against is 3rd in the NFL. Compare that to Revis' all-world 3rd year of 31 PD, 6 Int, 47 Solo Tackles (54 Combined), and he's not that far off. Revis that year had a 28% forced incompletion rate, and mind boggling 36% completion rate against. Both lead the NFL by wide margins. But again, Revis didn't have these type of numbers until his 3rd year in. In his first two years he was good (3 Int, 17 PD, 17% FIR, 53% CRA ; 5 Int, 16 PD, 17% FIR, 47% CRA) but not elite. If this is what Sauce is showing now, as a Rookie, the future upside is insane.
To put Sauce into even clearer perspective. Right now he's a clear favorite for DRoY. He's most likely going to be a starting CB along with Surtain II for the AFC in the Pro Bowl. He's got even odds at being an All Pro as a Rookie. Not Revis, nor Deion, nor Champ, nor Ty Law, nor Woodson were named Pro-Bowl or All-Pro as rookies. None of them. CB, along with QB, is the position that takes the longest to acclimate to in the NFL. Sauce is something not just generational in what he's going, he's unique.
@@DK-wl4ne bruh, I’m a Jets fan and love to see my man Sauce shining. But to even compare him to those names after 7 games is disrespectful to the greats you named. Longevity and consistency at a high level is what makes greats great.
@@shomarileary778 - Get off your high horse. I'm pointing out facts. None of those DBs were doing in year 1 what Sauce is doing now. With the exception of Bailey, who took off as a 2nd year, all the other greats didn't become greats until their 3rd year. Will Sauce maintain this level of play? It's questionable. He still has to face Buffalo x2, Minnesota, and another Dolphins WR core. Those are elite WRs. He may very well end the season more along the lines of 20 PD, 18% FIR, 52% CRA, which would still put his rookie season on par or ahead of those aforementioned CBs. But if he keeps this up... Giving up no TDs to his coverage targets, keeping opposing QB rating against him under 50 (currently 42.8), and pacing himself to have the 2nd most PDs in a single season in history... At that point the only thing keeping him from tracking as an all-time CB is the threat of injury.
@@kylegabriel5794 yeah you didn’t watch film. When receiver gets handsy and both defender and receiver tug at each other, it’s not holding. You can’t seriously be saying when receiver is pushing back with his hand and defender tugging back in that situation is a hold
He is the truth. Never panicks. His technique is veteran like. His recovery speed is ridiculous AND HE IS ONLY 7 GAMES IN....
The next Darelle Revis

This kid is unreal. Watching him is poetry.
Still haven’t gave up a Td since college just amazing
Agreed. A great foundation to build on.
Are the Jets a legit contender in the AFC East this season?
Or course. Imagine if zach was playing top notch! We’ll be in the bowl overnight
I so wanted him to be an Eagles. Also wanted Safety Hamilton from the Ravens both had solid rookie years
Excellent video

Was Caleb Farley benched? and what are your thoughts on him now that we are in the mid season.
Dare I say that Sauce is better than Revis? Well, maybe not yet, but if he keeps it up for another year or two, than yes.
Relax. Lol

The “holds” you’re seeing is back and forth tugging between receiver and DB that literally every DB in the league does often.
