HAM Radio is the best of the long-form video interviews for underground rap and not-really-a-genre-yet music artists. Someone give these guys more damn money. Or something. Even if they don't need it. They deserve it *and it gives them more incentive/capability to hire me for no reason although I'm sure they could figure out an entry-level or intern-type position that would benefit The Brand.*
I haven't gotten around to checking Brennan out, but I'm going to now just because he seems like a good guy, good personality, etc. Maybe it's just me but I like seeing that - not everyone has to put on a show to sell their music. It's cool if you're... well, cool. But it's usually very very bad to be a walking billboard for something stupid and very embarrassing if you aren't a sociopath and have to sell your product with failed attempts at humour or i n s i g h t or whatever.
Anyway, thanks for reading my tiny rant if you did. Everyone go out and campaign, protest, or at least vote. And by that I mean campaign/vote for/in your local primaries/elections too (or rather, especially). Anyone endorsed by the DSA is probably the move. If you don't care about politics and only music - crucially the kind birthed from hip-hop - I'll ignore any other argument for the moment just to say that it would benefit these artists.
