Let's say I am fetching data from rest api, and then displaying them into my UI as ListView.builder. The fetch metod i put inside initState, and everytime i changing screen and go back it fetching it again and duplcating the list. Is there any way to fix that issue? I tried use FutureBuilder but it also fetching data everytime i change to another screen. Is Singleton pattern a solution in this case?
Really impressive tool, to say the least about it. I've been asked many times if it will replace the developers and my answer for that has always been no. Yes, it can be a great coding assistant solving many questions. What it and most other AI tools lack as of now is creativity. Also, I haven't found ChatGPT to be very helpful in big projects. Definitely it can help with smaller programs and solve some errors but can't say the same for larger codebase.
Not to forget, many code snippets it provides has outdated syntax (saying only for Dart & Flutter). This is an indication of a big issue with such AI tools. They cannot always stay updated like developers. And suppose a tool comes in a market which gets instant hit. It won't be able to solve issues with those (considering null safety is a part of Dart for 1.5+ years now and it still gives outdated code)
