I think there are a ton of old decks that are still really strong that just have been forgotten so its fun seeing updated versions of them
when people say this game balance is bad or not have much deck to play in meta

@@warm-heartedreaction6191 that's because most of people only care about winning. Personally i like to play meme deck just like when i play aphelios-karma against karma-aurelion sol. It took about 30 minutes. XD (i won btw and we use Shen emote at the end)
I'm climbing with LeBlanc Ashe right now in masters. It deals pretty well with Sion and I've teched two Reckoning to deal with swarm decks.

I was the guy playing the first malphite Deck. At least my stoneweaving gave me the appropriate landmark for the deck I built at the end. Jk, was my first game after coming up with the idea. I will try to improve it though! Was a fun game! Really like your Videos.
Yeah you went too heavy on the landmarks. You can get some followers in there, like the 5 cost stun landmark on itself already levels Malfite up, you can get away with less landmarks.

Thank you so much for both making such useful and helpful content and for playing durdly control decks periodically- the finest kind of deck in any card game.
Yeah I'm kinda tired of bandle city decks too. I'm not tired of STORMCLAW URSINE decks tho. When are you gonna share your one!?
I wonder if you can use him with vlad and the "survive damage to get power" archtype, but i guess that would be a meme deck and a poorly aged one at that.

Ah yes, I remember this deck being giga broken. The good ol days. Since you're revitalizing some older decks I would be interested to see your take on the ashe midrange deck since you were one of the first I saw really master that archetype. Have a good one Miguel.
I don't even play the game anymore so my only exposure to decks is through your videos. So even when the meta is stale, you make it look diverse. Even if you were to play the same deck for a few videos to try hard like your mentioned in the previous video, there would still be enough diversity for me to remain interested. Love seeing you play and comment so I'll watch whatever you put out!
Personally I want to see older decks or you exploring new archetypes. One I really like is jarvan renekton with the challenger archetype.

Pretty sure everyone saw the lethal but it's just safer to just play karma and go next round.
@@BoujaXD How is taking it to the next turn safer? Open attack with Sion is pretty scary, while at that point he could nopify the spell and finish it with thermo.
I don't see how it's lethal. It's just 3 damage since karma isn't lvl up yet, and the opponent could have get excited to kill karma and next turn spider to stun ezre, attack and w8 for your spells to flock ezre and don't get killed. Yes, it's so specific, but that's why saving mana was safer. May be i'm missing something, but i prefer to don't depend from draws
@@Oldccount karma wasn't level that turn the only way he has lethal is if he plays double gotcha then 0 mana tribeam, then they can kill ezreal on the stack and he loses the game. Playing karma leaving nopify open for get excited. And yes sion attack is scary but with lvled ez and karma on board and his hand he can easily kill him with burst or speed spells with 13 mana.
@@Oldccount he could get lethal next turn at fast speed at worst… the sion deck has pretty bad interaction and can’t stop the lethal nor could he kill mogwai with burn before he dies.
So nah open attacking with sion isn’t scary at all, better to save nopify for in case they had a way to kill ez and go for the guaranteed lethal next turn.
I love revisiting the older archetypes but I'm also a player that doesn't play too much at the moment. I mostly keep up on the meta through your videos. I don't mind continuing to look at Bandle City but I also like seeing the older decks coming back. Fortunately the meta seems to allow a large variety of archetypes at the moment so I'm constantly seeing variation which is great.
E Z Karma is my favorite deck of all-time. The other day I OTKed a Nami/Zoe deck when I had 1hp. Felt amazing.

Yup you're right on the deck preference. To summarize I don't like the popular auto win decks, eg never played Azir-Irelia, prefer decks that imply decision making.
I love seeing older decks. Some of my favorite decks like deep are still good but just don't see that much play because they're older. Keep up the good work and I'd love to keep seeing older decks

Honestly I'm not tired of Bandle City, but mostly it's OP cards, I'll never get upset playing against decks like darkness or puffcaps, it's mostly Aloof Minimorph and looping telescope that ruin it for me

Im not really tired of bandle city but I always liked to see a lot of different champion. Never been happier with the meta, having 2 good Vi decks that feel good to play is heaven. Now I just need kindred and Viktor buffs and everything is perfect.
I don't get why everyone keep saying that "The region was pushed like every new region" anytime they talk about Bandle City. Targon and Shurima were both pretty underwhelming during the first set of their expansion and didn't become dominant until all 3 set were released.
The point still stands that riot purposely makes the new region stronger than other regions on release to get people to play it… when shurima was underperforming riot buffed merciless Hunter before it’s reveal to make sure shurima became the most powerful.
Only difference between bandle and the other two is that the targon and shurima releases where split into 3 last moment and thus where badly planned, bandle was designed from the beginning to be split into 3 releases so the region actually has all of its tools it needs straight out of the gate.
@@Swampert919 Your contradicting yourself there my friend. If riot purposely mad the new region stronger than other regions on release, then the new region would not be under-performing and they would be no need to buff cards like Merciless Hunter and Sivir. Shurima and Targon both needed some buffs to become good Bandle City didn't.
@@Swampert919 I don't think that is a problem though, the whole point of the expansion is to create new exciting decks. If they were average in strength, everyone would be playing the old broken stuff. Sivir Akshan with no new cards was still better than every new deck before the nerfs to it, and people were farming week 1 ladder with it.
@@salutcava2262 they where only not stronger because they where missing major cards to make the region work like merciless hunter or zoe, their individual cards where much stronger than other regions like hush, pale cascade, stargazing (is that the name, 5 mana heal), shape stone, hunter, ruin runner, ect.
Also shurima was only as weak as it was because TF fizz was too strong at the time, the moment it got nerfed shurima shot up in strengh.
@@mesterzombi6632 there are issues with this though.
Firstly you wanna avoid an arms race with new cards invalidating older ones, so you need to nerf them later, and this can go too far and kill the region, aka what has happened to targon
The opposite is also true, if riot messes up and makes it too strong deck diversity dies… just like azir irelia, the game had a massive issue because they made one deck too strong for its release, killing many decks and also hurting the rest of the release (malphite and zilean suffered because of irelia)
The idea in a vacuum is ok and makes sense, but in the long run it can cause massive issues for these regions after the nerfs happens, and if riot goes over the top they can really hurt their game (thankfully hasn’t happened this expansion, but has happened and likely will happen again).
This season has driven my win rate into the toilet. I have barely scraped out of Gold Rank, and I have won zero Prime Glory despite competing in multiple Seasonals. A deck this classic and in my wheel house is always welcome. Play what you wanna, but I love to see decks like this.

Oh yeah, I do not play LoR anymore but God damn I love variety of decks IF shown by you. (Wich means I am OK with having a single deck being meta)
But I probabaly prefer seeing you try hard with a deck more, it just feels more entertaining instead of a showcase

I would prefer videos like these. Decklists for the new cards are everywhere. PLEASE keep giving us updated versions of old decks. Luc/Hec, Vlad/Braum, Dragons, Undying Anivi, etc. That stuff is much harder to come by!

Besides Tryndamere/Leona, I saw Shen/ Jarven being played by the Turkey team and was quite surprised as to how it did.

My fave deck rn is tahm raka I never saw it in rank and the meta is about aggro and combo which tahm raka wants ,a bdsm meta so I mostly win thank you mogwai for inspiring me always to push myself

In the 2nd game on round 9 you missed lethal at 8 mana and 5hp you couldve played 2 gotcha and the 0 mana thermo beam to end but gg just a tip
I really want to see zombie anivia again. It is always fun to play and one of the strongest decks i have ever built (at least from my own experience).

Gonna be that person but there was a situational lethal on game 2where double gotcha on 2 targets that aren't soon and an empty thermo beam will be ez lethal. That's if ez doesn't get killed by get excited but the odd of him having that is a thing

29:50 Now, what the HELL was this?! You went to block and I thought to myself "OK, gonna Time Trick and fish for the Hextite Crystal to wipe them out, right?" but you didn't. And then, right AFTER the combat, you went for the Time Trick and found the Hextite Crystal! WHY?! There was literally NO reason NOT to Time Trick in response to the attack if you're going to go for it afterwards anyway (it's not like you needed to save the mana) and all that meant was you took unnecessary trades against the Merciless Hunter and Treasure Seeker and progressed Sivir's level-up. Hell, combined with the Mystic Shot you found, you could even have shot down Akshan as well!

Eh. I'm not tired of Bandle, if only because as a region it is designed better than Targon and Shurima as a whole. That's isn't to say that it doesn't have issues, but unlike Targon and Shurima, Bandle's issues CAN be fixed by numbers tweaks instead of reworks (thanks Landmarks, for fracturing the play pattern of the card pool)
I stil have PTSD from Karma EZ . Since closed beta, never quite recovered from that deck.

As a foundation/beta player seeing Karma ticks me up, but I do love her decks expect the Greatmother Marai one, that's bs.
How is it bs? Takes till turn 5 to set up and you have to choose tide or great mother game plan. Takes way more piloting than most decks
