Definitely a fake from the content farm. It seems many of us wanna live vicariously through these "getting back at my abusive/neglectful family" stories before we question how true they are
Listen, I understand that most of these are fake. But you do realize when people pick up the phone, they tend to ask, "Hello, who is this" which tends to get you the answer of who's calling you 9 times out of 10 👍
@@EpicCheese765 Some of the older ones were definitely real, but this one HAS to be fake, nobody seemed to notice how he said that he was gone for 7 years, but his only memory of his sister was of a baby. Why would she be 12-13 if he left 7 years ago, and she was a baby when he was last around her?
OP should have said this to the parents: "You know, instead of talking to me, you should be talking in the mirror because they are the ones who you should be asking to fix your problems that aren't mine to deal with." I hoped OP would have called CPS to rescue the sister from them and put her with better people who actually care for her.
This AI OP is such an idiot. If his sister, who he shouldn’t have even been able to recognize from her voice since he last saw her as a freakin’ baby, called him, he has that number in his phone now, so why the hell didn’t he just text her exactly why he wasn’t around. On top of that, the AI seems to forget that calling CPS is most definitely an option. 0/10 too many glaring plot holes.
Yeah, the whole he didn't call the sister or even message her things annoyed me the most "I know I could help my sister, but I won't do the bare minimum to try and fix anything between us"
I have a cousin similar to OP's sister got into a bad crowd tried to move out and run away from home and did drugs and OD'd twice by the time she was 16. The only thing that changed her was when the doctor told her he's never seen someone live past a 3rd OD. She's 18 or 19 now and hasn't done drugs since. Hopefully OP's sister figures it out before she turns out similar or worse.
"Am i the bad guy for not helping my child abuser parents solve their problems even though ive convinced myself that the blatant child abuse they put me through wasnt actually child abuse? They refuse to express any regret let alone remorse for the child abuse, so maybe i am the in the wrong here"
I'd say I'd help out, but only if they paid me back for all the struggles I went through as a kid, missed birthday and Christmas presents, pain and suffering from being kicked out at 18 having to couch surf, no chance for higher education ets. Then give them a stupid number. Then say, oh well, wouldn't be so high if my family was there for me from the start
Parents who are so biased for a certain gender of baby, are creepy anyway. Why does it matter, if you truly want a baby for the right reasons, then it won't matter what gender they are.
Sounds like she found out about a brother and couldn't understand why he hated her when she was spoiled so everyone has to love her And thats what made her so crazy
Anyone else annoyed with op regarding sister. She said all that stuff, he thinks he can help her, so instead of reaching out to her, explaining he never wanted to leave her but parents cut him out, but he'd like to build a relationship with her, he just ignores her and let's her love with her friend that will just make her problems worse?
If OP really wants to intervene he should have filed for legal guardianship of his sister and then filed a restraining order. Not saying it’s what he should have done, or that it would have been easy, in fact his sister would have been a pain, but it would have forced truth into the light.
I saw the rest or diferent ending he contacted sister and talk with her she wasn't runaway or addict she was normal truth was dad was gambling and mum going to shopping spree op and sis stay in contact but parents find out and take her phone he call CPS and their parents abuse her and didn't feed her etc and cps give op custody and parents was take to court for debt and sister related abuse
This one only missed the difamation in social network and family/friends circles to check all the boxes. I know most of this channel stories are AI generated but damn they feel more and more generic each day.
I was thinking, and you know how op's parents kicked op out then told op's sister that he moved out what if they're doing that again but reversed and op's parents kicked op's sister out and are telling op that she moved out.
I'm of the belief that everybody can change but they can't or won't change with people they already abused. They created a dynamic of abuse and power that is an addiction to them. They will never give that up with the person that fed their fix for years. They could be great people with everybody else but not with past victims.
"another part of me feels guilty" OP ISTFG. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AS FAMILY. THEY SEE YOU AS FREE ATM. A GOLDEN TICKED TO HELP THEM AND THEIR GOLDEN CHILD. THEY HAVEN'T EVEN APOLOGIZED FOR BEING A SHITTY PARENTS, WHY DO YOU FEEL ANY GUILT
There’s another one somewhere, this is not all the brother got in contact with the sister and it was revealed, she was a regular kid and the parents where lying on why they were broke the brother then revealed the truth on why he wasn’t around and they began to talk and create a bond the parents found out the they were talking and took her phone and grounded her, a couple days pass and she snuck her phone to make a call to him to let him know she was grounded and they have her phone, and not to worry, he knew something was off so after a day or 2 he call cys and they went over there turns out the parents was mentally abusive and it turned physical she only told the caseworker what happened only if they took her out of there and to her brothers, they promised her and they took her to her brothers house and the parents were arrested, they are now living together and looking for a 2 bed room he had temporary custody
I don't know if OP's is watching this, but for your family problem, I'd do one out of two things: 1. Go meet your sister and tell her the real reason why you left and to prove it, you'll call your parents on speaker and tell her to be quiet and listen to what they say. 2. Tell your parents and sister to meet you in a neutral place and tell them that you'll consider helping them (then say you won't) but only if they tell your sister the truth, and if they choose to stick to their lie then say that the deal is off.
Best to wait a few years. Let the sister settle into her new life. And let her mind heal from years away from the abusive overbearing parents, who treat her like a prize to validate their ego, rather than a human being with her own life. OP was stupid for not realising she is likely suffering from being treated as a miracle child. And questioned why she would want her parents' benefit. Though he cannot change the past.
Clearly a fake story. But let's play along and pretend it's real, what happens next? Parents just vanish as OP doesn't care about them, OP moves on in life, and sister probably becomes a drug addict since she moved to a place that encouraged her bad behavior. If we want to go further she'll probably be trafficked heaven forbid or become a junkie doing terrible things that doesn't need to be said to feed her addiction until she ends up missing or dead as a teenager.
I honestly dont mind made up stories but this is so annoying. same old story where op is a doormat, asks aita for the most stupid reasons, the neutral location "coffee shop", the tearing the family apart bs, the golden child drama, calling op selfish for refusing to help his enemies, op even entertaining those people, the "part of me thinks this and that but a part of me thinks blah blah blah", the "things have gone worse" update
Not only did she leave her man because he had brain cancer, she also broke up her brothers relationship. And to top it off, she went to reddit to get recognition that she was the good guy with her biased side of the story.
If people are willing to just throw you away, then you need to maintain that same energy with them
Exactly. But unfortunately most op lacks a spine when it comes family.
🎯🎯🎯💯💯💯
Bro the coffe shop is the side character at this point
😂😂😂
Fr😂
You need to tip off CPS. They're clearly unfit to be parents. You dont have to get involved after letting CPS know the situation
Bro how the hell do you even recognise your sister's voice with even knowing or talking with her
Her "Goo goo gaga" was undeniable

Yeah, CPS is the farthest thing from people who care about her. That being said, CPS is the correct call here. The AI parents deserve the charges.

Like...damn I didn't know cafés were so damn accessible and popular lol. They are everywhere and in every town lol.
I feel like theres a point of fake where its no longer entertaining. it's just poorly constructed and cringe
There should be an exam on whether or not you can be a parent
This op really is a doormat
“Maybe I should help them”
“They’re still family”
“I want to help them”
Then go back to them if you feel like this
It's ok to have conflicting emotions.
@@akiluckyakilucky7524 bro they ain't no family what are you on about
"They looked mu h older than i remember." Well according to you its been 7 YEARS! No sh$%!
Thank you for changing the music, I was going crazy

Why didnt he call The Sister and told her The truth?
Not his circus. Not his problem.
bruh they decided op wasnt family, before he was even born. and yet, THEY feel abandoned?? dont pmo

I've heard this story at least 10 times.
they repeat ideas and change genders
Im definitely gonna listen to this while i exercise
Wow, OP truly has horrible parents. If u was OP, I would never forgive, never forget and I would never talk to them.
To parents Take care of your daughter, don't ask the remnant for help

Hahaha...don't need closure at all and just perfectly fine on NC for 15 yrs now. But I guess it's different for each people😂

Where the hell is any extended family in all this? Or idk, cps?
Sounds fake. Even if you’re parents were bad the moment they mentioned the shit your sister was in and self respecting human would have called CPS

just say no.
