I wasted 4 minutes of my life on this video, I came here looking to hear strong insight on true differences of the mower, I should have stopped when the first comment was that the 3300 had deeper tread. I guess on the flipside, I highly doubt it, but maybe someone out there would buy one mower over the other based on tire tread depth. What I'd hoped to hear/see more on was the real life effects of the fore-front suspension.
Very Similar as Ferris is building the Stihl mowers. The price is a littler different between the two products, but the mowers are nearly identical at this point.
i live just outside of Memphis and have 7 acre's of hilly and rough spot's.....farm land.... will this mower hold up ????.................thanks from southaven ms
Sorry for the late response. But absolutely! It is all commercial grade! We are 90 miles south of Omaha and 90 miles north of Kansas City; all farm yards and they hold up fantastic!
I use mine on a 16 acre farm that’s all grass for the moment. Ranges from hills to swamp. Get some Carlisle tru power wheels for her and you’ll be golden.
I know there is no grease fittings on the "four front" suspension rods, but does Ferris recommend applying a Silicon spray or maybe a Teflon spray to those joints? By the way, the main thing the new suspension does for you, is it keeps the front caster vertical thru out the wheel up and down motion.
I think Spartan makes a solid mower. But it is a solid mower! It does not have the suspension, therefore the ride quality of a Ferris. The deck doesnt have the ability to move, it can be a bulldozer on spots of the lawn that is uneven.
@@husq48 Ride both and you will notice the difference! The full suspension of a Ferris makes the machine smooth and glides like a caddy. A suspension seat and/or platform make the operator bounce around but the mower itself still is solid. With a Ferris it is like floating, with a suspension seat the mower is a bouncy ride, the operator is still moving around much more.
Derek knows how to read the brochure....Congrats Both mowers are not brand new, the 3200 is used as a demo. The 3300 turf tires are not going to hold the bank any better than the 3200. Thank god you're not my local Ferris dealer, you would have been the sole reason why I would have never bought a Ferris.
Thanks for the comment DJ. Derik did show the 2 models. In 2021 both models were available. We had several customers ask the difference between them. This video was beneficial to them. The tires on the 3300 are better for banks, people who have had both can verify that. Have you had the chance to run both? Or are you just making assumptions? Have a nice day!

You wasted another minute writing the rude comment ;). The tires are different and deeper tread helps hold banks.
@@MerzFarmEquip the 3200 tires looked used - no tits
@@ubrad8110 3200 used for the video was our demo model.
whats the deck thickness on these mowers? for the cost i hope 7ga.
How does the stihl Rz line compare to the ISX Line on the Ferris?

That’s a Ferris bro.. that’s like the Ferrari of lawn mowers. You can’t buy much better then that
What’s the tie downs used for?

To our knowledge Ferris doesnt recommend anything on the joints for the Fore Front. But spraying lubrication wouldnt hurt anything.
What have you heard about the Spartan KGZ-XD?

@@MerzFarmEquip This Spartan does have a suspension system, just not like the Ferris.

I think its odd that at this price point, there appear to be no factory lights at all?
Easy add on! Plus with the smooth ride you will pick up enough speed to get done before it is dark!
And no chute block !?? Cmon man !!???? That to me is one of THE biggest safety issues!!
Does the 3300 have a 72 inch deck in this video or a 61?
3300 has the 72"
72" on the 3300 in this video. Both 61" and 72" are offered for ISX3300 models
