Didn't some of their founders talk about labor guilds (labor unions)? Labor guilds (unions) are their version of checks and balances. Can you name even one communist country that had labor guilds? Today that same apartment rents for $1,200 to $1,800 per month. 98% of working class Americans do not have the ability to pay that much to keep a roof over their heads. How is allowing the free market system to handle it going to fix this issue?
Price controls will work when everyone across the board has to do it. The way things are currently being done won't work either. Prices can't continue to go up on everything. One day gas will cost $100 a gallon is something isn't done about it.

We have 4 Fry's Food stores within 5 miles of me.
I went to lidi supermarket and i get one bottle of regular milk $3.09. I walk 2 blocks down to fine fare supermarket and that same milk was $5.59
