    I just stumbled over this video as i am looking for potential cheap cars for a family member. Then i saw your masked face and your work procedure done in absolute silence and remembered that i used one of your videos earlier to get clutch work done on a renault. Are you some kind of masked superhero? Always on the watch for broken clutches. The hero we need. The clutch knight. Great videos! Very detailed, professional and no distracting chitchat.

    Hi Kev I did the clutch on my 08 1.6 Focus last weekend, go to hand it to you mate you are one strong guy, it took two of us me and my son to lift the box back in, took us a couple of days to do it from start to finish, but we did it and followed your video. Put a Valeo kit and the car drives like a dream now. Thanks for the help. Chris 👍

    Excelant video m8 i love how he cleans the parts for his customers to thats great, hes not like other mobile mechanics who just takes clutch out and puts 1 back in he actualy cleans the clutch and gearbox which is the best way to do it, that way the customer will keep coming back, well done m8 i look foward to watching more of your videos.

    would you recommend swaping the pilotbearing when changing the clutch?

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  3 роки тому +3

      Not necessarily.,, unless there’s a lot of free play in the gearbox main shaft. I know a lot of people who do away with them completely

    Just wondering, how long does a clutch change take you from start to finish for an Aygo/C1/107? : ) Nice job!

    Do you think the design is more Peugeot Citroen or Toyota ?

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  3 роки тому

      Alan I think it’s Peugeot. But there are a lot of little differences between them. Like this one for example the subframe extends a lot more forward and getting the box out can get very tricky for a first timer..,,

    I think this is the fourth Argo/C1/107 on this channel... do they all suffer with weak pressure plates or is it rubbish release bearings?

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  3 роки тому

      It’s usually the thrust bearing .., always the case with them little ones. I suppose it’s cable operated so takes a lot more force to work the pressure plate.

    • @jusb1066
      @jusb1066 3 роки тому

      More like about the tenth on this channel, along with other the don't get filmed Kevin did my Aygo clutch earlier this year. Failed release bearing, I'd say it's a combination of them living in city traffic and the gears being quite tall.
