Good, balanced and good paced/filmed review. Like how you compare and comment on the fit and finish. I will put it on my shortlist with the Fjällräven Räven 20L (the Studio is 14L, the Everki Versa is 21 so it may be a good runner up) and look at your other reviews. Thanks!
Great review. I mostly agree on your observations (but your usage obviously requires a bigger model). However, the Everki Studio is my new daily backpack, and unlike you, I moved away from the Oggi NewT15 and previously Incase Nylon compact because they offer very few protection for the laptop, especially on the bottom corners where it's easy to dent your laptop every time you pull down your backpack on a solid concrete floor. The Everki has laptop corners guard system that offer much better protection against shock and real world life. This only feature makes it a better choice (at least for me)
Arthur Felix That's cool. My macbook pro 15" retina fits in the ogio without being forced to the bottom, so the bag padding acts as protection. Maybe if your laptop was tight all the way to the bottom I could see that happening. I'm also very gently with my bag, but you never can tell if someone will toss it around. The everki was a very nice bag, just a touch too small for me. :-) It would definitely be my second choice though if the newt wasn't available.
$99 on ebags and usually there are discount codes so potentially around $70 and definitely won't find something that organized at ross ;) but you never know.
Thank you for the kind words. I do agree, and have been trying to reduce the time, but I like to be thorough, as I myself would want as much info as possible. That's why I try to do "quick" reviews as well. But I'm always working on cutting out unnecessary content. Making a video is time consuming, especially if you plan, record, cut, splice, edit, etc. I try to strike a balance between having to edit too much and being too long. Still tweaking my process...
what's wrong with you dude? don t watch if you don t like the video. I actually like the video very much, it covers all the details and stuff. thanks for your insight that has helped me with the purchase :)

15 min. for a backpack, the original Everki commercial is about 1:30 min. Shut up and think before making a review. 3:00 to 5:00 min maximum

Great review! You saved me from buying this bag. Great bag but not for me. I carry too many things.
