    You switched hands for the bass tone...both work but you are showing 2 different patterns.

      Hey Theo, I’m left handed so maybe that can be it. But it’s a mirror effect for those right handed players.

      I see what you’re saying. So it’s the same pattern sonically but visually it can be done both ways. It’s more of a “comfort” thing as far as which pattern you prefer. There are many variations to play Guaguanco.
