I found your channel a week or so ago when looking for gardening stuff and then I discovered you spin and knit! My favorite hobbies. I'm trying to add more natives into my front and back yards and your garden has really inspired me to plant food crops in both as well.
I love her stuff, I think I have 2 or 3 of her books and I read several others from our library. I made the baby jacket pattern of her's that's notorious. I think I've also made some of her shawls. Thanks for including the raveley group information, I find them indispensable as a ND knitter. I often misread stitch notes or over think instructions, so being able to read through discussions is really helpful. I adore the stars on your walls!!
Really like how this turned out and the story behind the yarn. What do you think of Elizabeth Zimmermans sock patterns? Long time knitter but the first sock pattern I've tried has me stumped halfway through the instructions.
I have never made any of her socks bc I have my 3 favorite sock patterns i tend to use in rotation and don't branch out much. are you on Ravelry? I wonder if other folks have trouble-shooted (troubleshot?) the pattern on one of the forums there?
Thanks! I'll definitely check out Ravelry!! Am not part of it. Googled and found others stuck on the same exact part without a solution, so my confusion has some company for sure 😅
this isElizabeth Zimmerman , she didn't really give patterns the way ye have become used to, she gave guidelines. She is definitely part of the European method like Burda and Neue Zeit. But you are expected to know what you're doing and what you want to end up with , so this is just a guideline. I find this is the way it was. Her more recent patterns fit American standards better❤
Knitting while watching Succession? You ARE a brave soul!

The folded lapel looks better than the original. When are you going to use the poodle hair?
soooon, it's all combed and I'm waiting for a good warm sunny day to spin it outside!
I like the wide shoulders. I think it would be a mistake to try to alter them now.
