- There are many versions of the seven wonders of the world, the list in this video is focused on wonders of the world from the middle ages or medieval times. We head to sites like Stonehenge, the Great Wall of China, and even the great Roman Colosseum.

The English: We made 93 rocks 13 feet tall. The Egyptians : that’s cute
England didn’t exist then
@@hullaballoo9703 Anglo Saxons did, I’m Anglo Saxon and it a basically the founders of England
@@harrysarada2710 get tf outta here I'm a dane
@@randomvidz8742 and? What’s ur point? 😂😂😂
@@harrysarada2710 Stonehenge was built in ancient times 3000 bc. Not in Saxon times.
I've been Blessed to see Stonehenge back in December 2019 Pre covid. It's awe inspiring. Now the rest of the Wonders of are on my list.
good
Nice videos, I watched this and the ancient one
I frequently drive past Stonehenge and it's definately nothing to do with the middle ages. And it's not primarily a burial site.
Hi there Marketingmagician. I didn't create the lists. The "Ancient" list was created for touring the Mediterranean so doesn't include other technically ancient sites, so really the "Middle Ages" list is when that list was created, even though several of these monuments are much older. Also, I just doublechecked the wiki site for Stonehenge and it mentions burial sites all over the place, so I'm not the only one who is getting that message.
I Am Your Target Demographic. Certainly there are several hundred burial mounds in the area and Parker reported the vines of 63 individuals that had been reinterred after being exhumed by Hawley. But as I said I don't believe it was primarily a burial site. The location and alignment with the solstices cannot be chance and are the feature most examined and discussed here.
We're all people.
I just wish The Kaabaaa Is in the Seven wonders of tje modern world
I still havrn't watched it
I thought wonders were supposed to be things that can’t be explained hence “wonder “ butt idk
Nah i thought theyre wonders couse theyre wonderous/ wonderful right?
Jake Neher I thought it was bc yk how you wonder how something happened. I thought that’s what it meant
@@miramartin6554 dont blame you, would make just as much sense
Hagia Sophia 🥲
Assassin's creed revelations memories 🥲
I think you may need to research what the “Middle Ages” were
Coliseum is classical era not middle ages
Stone henges imo doesn’t deserve to be a wonder of the world. They literally just got lazy and put 10 stones on the ground and put some vertical and on top of eachother
Machu Picchu?
Borobudur
Stonehenge wasn't built during middle ages..Its much older...incredible the author doesnt know that...Middle ages started with the fall if constantinopla in 476...The colosseum already existed (first century)......Stonehenge was built between 3000 bc. 2000 bc (pre historic)...
Hi Andre, it wasn’t until the Middle Ages that travel across the world started to become easily accessible so this list was made then, hence why the “Ancient Wonders” list is geographically confined to where people could visit. The wonders aren’t necessarily created during that era. I didn’t make the lists, just created the videos.
Ok understood...thanks for the answer
Introduction - 0:11
Colosseum - 0:40
The leaning tower of Pisa - 1:20
The Great Wall of China - 1:55
Porcelain Tower of Nanjing - 2:42
Hagia Sophia - 3:15
Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - 3:59
Stonehenge - 4:34
The Stonehenge mystery was solved, it's a sundial that marks certain events throughout the year, the stones are precisely aligned with sunrises and sunsets
isn't a cemetery? hundreds of skeletons of different ages was found around the area, there's also carvings of sorts in the stones..
edit.. i made the comment before watching the video but i also like to add that apparently the model used for the _calendar theory_ of sorts are incomplete because they said that the stonehenge was missing many pieces?
Easily put a calender of the sorts
The experts still 100% either way although, the sun, time, burials and pagan rituals too the list. Many experts agree that it’s likely it has more than a single purpose.
Hopefully you found this interesting! Our final part will release next Wednesday!
Ever heard of INDIA having TAJ MAHAL, GOLGUMBAZE, CAVE TEMPLES. If you have, you would not include those other as INDIAN wonders full your list of "wonders".
I honestly love these series! Thank you so much for sharing. Can't wait for the last installment!
Kailasha temple, ajantha caves, humpi, kajuraho, tanjore, mahabalipuram... to name a few. I think you are thinking Taj Mahal is the only building we have.
I think it defeats the whole purpose of stone henge being ancient when they cemented them into the ground in the 50s..
FPS Dovah danget... that makes it that much harder to push them over...
"middle ages" .. starts with ancient rome.. oookeydokey
The Ancient ones are before that though.
Wut, your do know that the Middle Ages started with the end of Rome so technically Rome still counts. Besides tourists had only began after Rome.
because ancient Rome is not that ancient or it's ancient, but there are more ancient ones so they have another last of the ancient wonders (and they are really ancient that they were all destroyed except Giza pyramids)
Never heard of the porcelain tower but it seems very cool.
the roman colosseum (70 a.D) is from ancient history same as stonehenge ( 2500 b.C) as the middle ages begin in aprox 400 A.D, great video anyway cheers
He did not write this list.
"Many of the structures on these lists were built much earlier than the Medieval Ages but were well known."
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonders_of_the_World#Lists_from_other_eras
I mean the middle ages start with the fall of the Roman empire and they put the colosseum in this list
I also read Stonehenge started as a burial ground by migrants from the Aegean region. They took their culture of building monoliths to that area. So even if the history was lost for some time, Stonehenge has Mediterranean roots and is founded in ancient times. It needs to be rewritten as an Ancient Wonder.
@@RonT222 The mystery was solved and it was actually a sundial.
@@benjaminwu100 Where it was a burial ground before that.
Machu Picchu, Angkor Wat, Taj Mahal, Easter island🗿, Great Wall of China, Roman Colosseum, Stonehenge?
u missed the first video, doofus
stonehenge is in this video? Did you even watch?
Lol watch the videos or even the series, like jeez how lazy can you get
Stonehenge is overrated compared to Angkor Vat or statues of Easter island.
What about the Mayan pyramids? Great video it’s lacking though some of the actual wonders though 🧐.
Middle Ages not ancient lol you do know the difference ?
@@bigiron7547 those pymrids also weren't included there
@@bigiron7547 you clearly don't know the difference. The Ancient world is typically considered to be before the fall of the Roman Empire in 476 AD. The Chichen Itza pyramids were built around 600 AD
@@zeztro Exactly right. The Temple of Kukulcan, in the Mayan cultural city of Chichen Itza, was built sometime between 700-1100 AD. There's so much focus on the European Middle Ages or so called "dark ages" and not nearly enough focus on the incredible advancements in science, math, medicine and architecture in Mesoamerica, China, Japan or during the Islamic Golden Age. Also, in Africa in the 1300s, the richest person to ever live, King Mansa Musa, is barely known outside of what's now Mali, where his kingdom was located. He was so rich that when he went on pilgrimage to Mecca with an entourage of over 25,000 people, he carried over 1000 lbs of gold. When his massive group stopped in Egypt, he gave out so much gold to the poor that he caused a huge recession on gold that lasted for 10 years!!
The people who made the list during the Middle Ages didn’t know about the Mayan pyramids.
Borobudur temple in Indonesia is also great. Built around 8th century
I wonder where are chitchen itza or the ancient city of petra or even taj mahal at?
Silvio Pokorni taj mahal is a modern wonder of the wormd so its petra
The name of the colloseum comes from the colossus of Nero standing aside, not the one of Rhodes. But great video.
Some really beautiful sections of the great wall are the ones overgrown and not well taken care of, away from the tourists. It's certainly a hike, but it's well worth it
How about Angkor Wat of Cambodia? It was built in 12th century. This construction is phenomenal.
I agree
Not a wonder
@@syzen1685 but that Stonehenge is a wonder?
There was a civilization when British was searching for fire, these was agriculture when people were hunting for food in the wild in France , there was a library long ago before letter 'a' was invented in english, there was a cave which was craved from top to bottom with unbelievable sculpture when most of the western people are living in caves.. it is so bad not to have any monument from South Asian countries(Taj Mahal is not a native Indian architecture). Visit the temples that's where real Indus valley civilization is..

This has me smiling, it’s so beautiful
Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and be saved
Nah
The Colosseum is from the Ancient World along with Stonehenge
Its really very interesting and this is the thing that we should know but some of the people just don't know " what are 7 wonders" and I think that's shameful...
And talking about your channel its amazing your channel tells everything that I want to know...
Amazing
It's funny to me that they "put things back in their places" on the stonehenge
Its funny that stones are one of the wonders of the world
I don't agree with your raisoning. It's not because the Colosseum or Stonehenge weren't included in the list of the Ancient World that it makes them wonders of the "Middle Ages". You could have just put them in an addendum. The Middle Ages were an historical period that extended from 476 to the XV century, so those monuments aren't on the right list.
Yo where is Taj Mahal, shouldn't that be on this list?
No Angkor Wat
The Colosseum gets its name from the Colossus of Nero which once stood nearby, not from Rhodes. Also, like a few others in this video, it's a Wonder of the Modern world. not the Middle Ages. They are The Colosseum, Petra, Taj Mahal, Chichen Itza, Matchu Picchu, The Great Wall, and Christ the Redeemer.
Bro Bro Bro, I want to tell you that you don't know much about the history and about India. Even your ancient monuments are modern in front of Indian history. You should make effort and study about it.

Stonehenge is stupidly overpriced to visit, don't bother
Where is Easter Island with the Stone heads? I’ve been looking for the real 7 wonders that have these Heads among others people forget about.
Stone henge is the most boring wonder, I’m not ever sure why it’s on the list? Nothing interesting about it at all just some rocks standing up? Been there and regret the journey 🙃
Oh look honey a tilting building, let’s go climb it in hopes it won’t fall 😃
Very well done video short description and history of each Wonder. Just learned a fact I didn't know about each 7th Wonder from you👍🏻👍🏻
As far I have a knowledge Taj Mahal is also the seven wonders of the middle ages.
Where is it
I'm confused, is the Great Wall of China supposed to be an Ancient wonder?
the ancient wonders are a list made by the meditarrean people, they only recorded the ones that they discovered at the time and find it worth putting it in by their architecture
You could have did the Sri Venkatesh Temple in Tirumala, India
where's the Hagdan-hagdan palayan or BANAUE RICE TERRACES of the Philippines???
it must be included in wonders of the world
This is the middle age
So its the ancient seven wonders
I've been to Chichén Itzá and if you clap near it.. it makes a bird sound. It was beautiful and there were iguanas everywhere
Hfisdfbjedj D “it makes a bird sound” wtf? Please explain.
Search Chichén Itzá cap
Gyberious hey ik this is a little late, the reason it makes a bird sound is because of the echo the clap sound waves make when they reach the top of the tower, it recreates a sound that sounds similar to a bird crowing.
Does any body know how to spell the catacombs place
wow, no mention of the Americas, or any of their civilizations
its been over a week. YES THE LINK!
You need to see Borobudur Temple , It's cool
I searched it on google and its cool
2:08 Democrats: Walls don't work
The Chinese: Are you sure about that?
Where is ankor wat and taj mahal and many more
I Love His Videos. I Am Such An Adventureous Person And He Gives A Glimpse Of The Most Beautiful Places.
Surprised there’s no Taj Mahal
Good job, very nice series! Thank you for Posting.
Kind of sad you didn't mention the catacombs of Paris.
Wasn't Britain under the Roman empire?
Ancient wonders made by Mediterranean people based on their region and this list based on Europe and China made by a biased person. Atleast could have to include Angor Wat in the list if Not Ajanta and Ellora caves. And the selection are not based from medieval time as well.
Stonehenge isn't middle ages it's stone age.
You forgot the real reason for the Colosseum. To keep the people focused on events while the government did their real ish. Same reason arenas and colosseums still exist. Those were the "sports" back then. These are the sports of now.
This video contains many inaccuracies. The Colosseum was not named after the Colossus of Rhodes. It got its name fram a nearby colossal statue of Nero.
These are so good !
I love these series....but, you forgot PETRA and the TAJ MAHAL!
No borobudur ??
The narrator is HANDSOME! (...just sayin’...😏) He’s also doing a good informative service to us all!
Che Johnson no one cares
Void L lmao who asked you
Sir please send the pictures names
ive never undrstood the stone henge thing, like its only interesting because its a known thing, as we will never know what or why , it doesnt effect us in any way, it has no eye appeal , why do we care about a circle of rocks ?
No Borobudur Temple?
Tag Mahal laughing at the corner
Where is ester island?
But where is the Taj Mahal, Christ the Redmeer , Petra, Macchu Picchu, and Chichen Itza....
your information is inaccurate, the blue mosque is still used as a place of worship and is still a mosque not a museum.
Where is Taj Mahal ??
You forgot the zaqora in Iraq
taj mahal ?????
First
thanks for your time
how about these?
The Moai of Easter Island
The Terracotta Army
Don't say Greece and Turkey...there was not turkey back to those years!
Turkey created after ottomans turks came, slated, stole the lands of the Greeks and Armenians!
Hallicarnassus, Ephesus...and all those cities at Minor Asia are Greek cities!
Κόλιους ΘΡΑΚΗ yeah sure whatever floats your boat, greek.
You should have added Uluru or Aires rock in Australia
Manmade wonders !!!! Ayers rock is not manmade!!
dr evil I’m confused did they say it had to be man made
Where is Taj mahal
it is informative
What about borobudur
It wasn't until Europeans could travel the world, correction sir.
Newgrange?
What about newgrange
Stonehenge is the only one I have seen in person. Since I have only been to the UK in Europe.
Rome Colosium,Leaning tower of Pisa,Great Wall of China,Porcelain Tower of Nanjing,Hagia Sophia,Catacombs of Kom El shoqafa,Stonehenge
Yeah, I am surprised Eiffel tower isn't on this list
Angkor Wat? It was build in the 12 century
What about Newgrange in Ireland older than most places
