I am so sick of the carbon tax topic. It is so obvious such thing does nothing good but to increase the price on everything. Who the heck in this world wants this? and for what purpose?
The elite want it to excuse the next massive wealth transfer. The media work on their behalf.
It could be the opposite of what they say. Cooling, and we need carbon to green the earth to grow food.
Even if the tax worked in theory and reduced emissions, why should the burden by on the little person versus the major emitters in the world. You’re never going to use the amount of carbon in your life than any company or corporation.

It's not just 1 trucking company adding the tax to goods. On food there's a seven step process.
The producer
A trucker
A processor
A trucker
Buyer warehouse
A trucker
Buyer retail store
All of these add the carbon tax, especially the processor, warehouse and retail store as they have to heat and cool their large facilities if using gas or propane.
My question is will there be criminal charges brought forward in the future will there be any form of justice for Canadian taxpayers?

I live along Lake Erie’s rural shore. Love it and I enjoy seeing the conservation areas filled with weekend campers.
I am low income and live in BC, I get no carbon tax rebate, zero rebate, I don’t think anyone in BC gets a rebate. So if we live in BC what are we, chopped liver?
In BC we are ruled by the NDP so don't expect prosperity.

They held mine back...I didn't know I had under two weeks to file...I did but lazy CRA locked account, as they do every year...and could never get through on phone to help unlock it! It's bull crap...never had issues paper filing sent via registered mail. So ya Ontario low income punished!!

Hey Brian, that “extra $2500” wouldn’t be going towards a “family vacation or a new deck”, it would simply be helping with our current grocery bill, exploded utility bills, gas / transportation, rent / mortgages, increased cable / tv / cellphone/ insurance….increased costs on damn near everything!!

If i may, the cost of living in Britain is very difficult, i struggle to keep my lights on...by the time i pay my bills, isnt a lot yet...i could do with some sun 🌞 on my face. ...cost of making a family picnic for an outting at least we can manage that...there are cheaper prices out there for us...if we avoid the massive food corporation s... Aldi 's liddles...etc...Morrisons is slightly more COSTLY...but the food purchase is of high quality...that matters too...Meat is very expensive...its triple in price from 4 years ago...having a joint of Beef 🍖 on A sunday...is a family Treat.
I get the full rebate for rural. $650. At $.35/l that trans to 1857 litres. I drive a gas sipper at about 18km/l. Thus 33,000 km. Easy annual mileage for rural. For a truck thats only 18 fillups and maybe 7000 km.
I am no expert but marks outburst really seems to reflect a person who experienced such roadtrips.
I have two vehicles in my family and we go through quite a bit of gas, we get 400 bucks a year back. Something isnt adding up.
