I sympathised with your 14:19 _" _*_anyway,_*_ I guess I need to snap out of it I have a recording running"_ ;)
And yes, Path Set. Seems like the adventurous bits of Mutable/Audible Instruments but on 11.
Pretty interesting, a couple months ago I banged my head against this module until I've learned it but couldn't really find an use case for it. Really appreciate the granular approach!
you have skills on the keyboard omri! thank you for sharing knowledge and sensible music
Used this module last night to make kind of an I Am Sitting In A Room like piece where I just let the little fade-in/fade-out artifact record back and forth into different cubes. They didn't quite line up, so all of the sounds eventually stretched out into a just some harmonics. Took a couple hours but it was really fun!
Very cool. Kinda reminds me of the Montreal Assembly 856 for Zellersasn pedal.
Hey Omri! Thank you so much for making this exploration video on Ice Tray :) Can you also do a video on zou mai please ?
Always found this module hard to tame. Thanks for your clear explanation. Hope you'll do a video on astro vibe.
Pitch the shift up or down :D... I got the full pack... Thanks for the video!!
As always, a super video with great information. Would you have the link to the project by chance ? It would help a lot practice and expertement Ice Tray. Thank you very much in advance!
Thanks! Do you mean the VCV file? I didn't do anything special. Just used Opulus.
Nice video bro. What midi controller or device do you recommend to use with vcv. What I'm looking for it's a device that give the experience of being using modules but vcv being the brain and the sound engine. It doesn't matter that doesn't have keys as long as has a good capability to recreate the details of modules
Thanks! I guess that something that you can customize would be best so you can build Midi modules. There are a few people that make these I guess. I have the Midilar controller.
I have questions. Is there a way to configurate vcv so I can have a bunch of knobs to make different functions? Like in this page the knobs make one thing and then, with the touch of a button they make another different thing? This is to multiply the capability of my midi controller
There used to be a module for that I think... What Midi controller do you use?
@@OmriCohen-Music I've been using a Nord electro that has few knobs. I didn't know to map it till I saw ur video btw. For sound design and small patches it's okay but for a bigger live performance I run out of them.
@@OmriCohen-Music I found the solution Omri. You just have to simply have multiple MIDI MAP modules and four each one you change the midi channel input. In this way you can map your knobs in channel 1 for example and then continue mapping using another MIDI in channel 2. Now you can simply change the midi channel in your controller and now just one knob can make multiple tasks. I'm writing this on your midi map video so anyone can see it
THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE SAYS IT ALL 1 SUPPER COOL MODULARS .?
THANK YOU OMRI VERY MUCH FOR YOUR BIG WORK!!!! I dont know without you how i would be have to learn this complex modular world... your help is amazing and BIG for all of us ... nobody one is realy a good teacher like you in modelar world... Please keep your work on.. WE ALL LOVE YOU AND NEED YOU !!!
CHEERS MY FRIEND AND TEACHER !
I appreciate it, thanks so much!
Totally agree with you about Omri
