Ryan is not the worst fighter but he has lacked a lot of fundamentals and has lost fundamentals with some of the opponents he has had. No matter what he is back at it which is good for him because he can only get better if he is putting in the work and getting the fundamentals hence adding trainer Derrick James. I respect comeback stories, they show a lot. Win, lose or draw. The boxing community has been plagued with the conversation of a loss ends your career…this game is like life…you get knocked down…you get up and keep fighting.

I'm not a big Ryan Garcia fan, but I recognize his talent. I got mad respect for him for calling out Bernard Hopkins, i.e. Garcia telling Hopkins that HE doesn't make the decision on when Garcia should call it quits paraphrase. Ryan didn't use social media to do this like a lot of cowards do in general, he told Hopkins to his face and not in a disrespectful way either...and I'm not hating on Hopkings cuz he is a great, like him or not. Oh, and he called Oscar De La Hoya's ass out, too...and I will be honest, I was NEVER an Oscar De La Hoya fan, but, he is a great as well based on his accomplishments.
