I cannot get over how much I love that audio clip
"A BEAN!" and it gets me every time
Harry gets hit with a big rock
*"wicked!"*
Hermione faints
*"that's great!"*
Harry got hit with a big rock? Killer Croc must have missed Batman when he threw it then.
Having just re-read the book, I’m astonished. The accuracy of this game is astounding, each and every chapter is represented accurately. I especially loved the bean part, in both the game and the book. This was truly ahead of its time.
I had this game years ago and I still don't think i'll ever get over 'A BEAN'
Remember playing this game on ps2 when I was a child. Thought the graphics were amazing. Seeing it now... Oh dear.
A shit PC port without even the bare minimum for the graphics options like resolution just Subtitles ON or OFF? Amazing!
Hey now, back then this was fairly impressive. They captured the likeness of the characters really well
This was such a step backwards from the prisoner of askaban game, it's actually insane.
I remember grabbing it being all excited to play it because I loved the prisoner of Azkaban game. In the words of Andy Dwyer, one of the most significant bummers of my life.
"Hermione, playing the damsel in distress card. That's usually Ron's job." I DIED
In the GBA version of this game, there's a glitch that can occur during the fight against Voldemort. The battle is just a DBZ style button masher where you try to push back his beam with yours. But if you do badly enough during the fight, sometimes the Avada Kedavra will blast back through Harry's head without killing him instead of killing him on contact like it's supposed to. Then Harry just sits there getting his face fried while the fight continues as though nothing's happening. It was amazing the first time it happened.
All I remember from this game is Ron being obsessed with Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans. "Beans!" "How many beans have you got" Hermione even has to tell him to stop at one point.
Best Voldemort fight I've seen to date
KaraIsabella better than the OotP movie scene and the actually Voldemort death scene
the way ron says *"A BEAN"* makes me fucking cry with laughter
Two critically important moments of Ron's Bean obsession:
1:39 and 2:06
You're welcome
Well he has to inherit the shop from his brothers. I'm sure they're *just* as obsessed with the damned things.
To find this video i literally searched ‘Call me Kevin A BEAN’
just thought i let you know how famous ron’s love for beans is.
I remember liking this, but I thinks it's because as a child you literally have no standards
I wished I liked every game I played, it's so disappointing buying a bad game
As a child i had literally no other games ti compare it to
i remember playing this and being like, the last 3 were nostalgic and great, its like they tried to make the shittest game they could
Lethegoodtimes Raul You remember playing it and thinking it was nostalgic?
the first three ones were awesome... but all the other ones were just meh
I simply arrived to the end of the game without understanding how to cast the spells,i simply mashed
Was literally boutta comment the same thing, they made the other 3 cool magical adventure and you gotta like fly around hogwarts n shit and i remember bein hella excited and so let down when i played this
My favorite parts are when you plead with the characters to help. "Harry..Harry please. I can't end myself so you need to help" had me in tears.
“hOw wE gOiNg tO gET ovEr ThERe?!?” Actually dead 😂
Fun fact! Most of the game's budget was spent on Harry and Ron's hair. That's why the cut scenes are pictures.
*Hungarian Hornatail*: ~Flies right above them~
*Harry, channeling his inner Skyrim guard*: What is it? Dragon?
"Viktor Krum, Flour Delacour, and lastly Cedric Diggory... AND RON!"
"Viktor Krum, Flour Delacour, and lastly Cedric Diggory... AND A BEAN!"
Ah, Ron. He’s always there to tell you when there’s a wizard card or a bean, at the most inopportune time.
I laughed so incredibly hard when Ron’s image came out of the Goblet of Fire xD
My favorite part was when Ron said "It's beanin' time" and then beaned all over those animals
Hearing somebody shout “A bean!” shouldn’t make me laugh as hard as this did...😂😂😂
Nooooo Kevin please I’ve been stuck on that level for 13 years, I need you to show me what to do so I can ride a broom with the dragon and get more BEANS!!!!!
Even though the game itself was disappointing I remember playing this thinking the graphics looked amazing, they look like shit now lol
Honestly I always hated the graphics. I remember they made me cringe so hard I'd look away during the cutscenes XD
At least they got Harry’s eye color right? The rest stuck too closely to Daniel Radcliffe’s likeness.
“A BEAN!”
~ Ron “I’m exhausted” Weasley
Im guessing the only time he isnt exhausted is when he is eating beans.
I am sad tho how you talked over the dialogue:
Ron: * crosses bridge* a bridge!!
Hermione: *how observant of you, Ronald*
Jesus, is the Ron of this game surprised by everything or what? Must have lost the few neurons he had left to his adiction to beans. I mean, seriously, the Rons of the oldest games werent this dumb, right?
@@pedrovallefin8406 it's because at this point the games were just movie games whereas before they were based on the books. Movie Ron was turned into comic relief
I hated this game so much when I was younger. A total disappointment compaired to the first 3 games.
I'd imagine that because they started to base the games off of the movies, there was a much shorter development time. This is probably why they tried to cut corners and make the games level-based rather than try to make a full hogwarts castle. :( I'd love to find out more about the development of these games.
i fricking loved this game but I never got past the first triwizard challenge and I spent most of my spare time crying about it.
I know it's an old comment, but I'm pretty sure all your questions about the development of HP games can be answered with just one word: EA. So... yeah :P
LilChikyChan prolly because the books became less campy and more dark so the bugs and bad game design became less charming.
The 4th game was so buggy on launch. On my dads shitty computer when it came out all the floors were see through and almost everything was invisible and I could only see their shadows. Load times were around 10 minutes except the bathroom level which worked perfectly fine
I think one of the biggest mistakes from this game was a strict linear scale, without the ability to free roam
That was just one mistake. The first HP PC game was linear but it was WAY better than this. Here are many more mistakes:
-No secret areas to find
-No platforming
-Weird controls
-Uninteresting levels
-Soundtrack wasn't super great
The first game was linear, but awesome. Secret areas to find, chests to open, platforming, beautiful levels, beautiful soundtrack, smooth controls, no need to wait for Ron and Hermione to help you fight enemies, etc.
"I;m thinking about thos Beans"
- Ronald Weasley
"A BEAN!" Kills me every time 😂😂😂
Ron's sitting here going "I LIKE BEANS" it's hilarious I am going to have a heart attack laughing
I remember me and my friends playing this at midnight and all we did was killing Hermine by trowing rocks at her
"the riddle house, well that sounds terrifying. Imagine being stuck in a house of riddles... WHAT GET WETTER THE MORE IT DRIES?"
Nicki Louise de Souza Dato the answer is a towel, by the way. In case anyone’s curious
Wormtail puts the ingredients in the cauldron:
Hagrid rises out:
Hagrid: ELLO HARRY.
Hagrid: AVADA KAMOUNTAIN!
2:08 a major meme in Kevin history ; “A bean!”
Kevin, please finish this game. You've made it through all the others, even the terrible Deathly Hallows ones. This is better by comparison. Come on!
I LITERALLYT WATCHED ALL HIS CHANNEL IN ORDER TO FIND PART 2 OF THIS ONE.. I would love it if he finished it too!
@@santiagon.2194 I've played this game, it's not worth it. It's just the same levels over and over and bad companion AI, it's not the worst but it is the least fun.
I'm not sure you fully understand just how awful this game is. I've played it on GameCube, and not only were the mechanics frustrating, but the gameplay was *incredibly* boring. Every level just leaves you bored and irritated.
If you NEED to see the whole game, I have a 5 episode let's play of it on my channel.
I have been waiting for this trainwreck of a game for SO LONG
This game was good for it's time though. I used to always do two player on it. But now? Yes it's a trainwreck.
timothy it was always a trainwreck. they took everything what was good from the other games and took them out
Pr0style I honestly don't know why I even liked this at the time now I think about it. It is probably the worst Harry Potter game besides the Kinect one now I think about it.
I don’t know why this suddenly popped up in my recommendations but I love that it did
its really funny watching Kevin struggle so much figuring out the controls of a game i played when i was 10
It's a tradition to watch this once in a while.
i'm so glad that when you search "a bean" "call me kevin" autofills and it's just that easy to find this video
I JUST KEEP BEING REMINDED OF ALL THE HARRY POTTER GAMES I HAVE PLAYED AND I LOVED ALL OF THEM BUT NOW I LOOK AT THEM AND I GO LIKE ???!?!?! WHAT???!
This is the only HP game that's actually bad (except for that kinect thing tbh lol)
There are other bad ones, all the ones he played, the good ones were on other systems than the verisons he played
scotsoulgem
The PS2/Xbox/GC version of The Prisoner of Azkaban was better than the PC version that Kevin played.
"Imagine getting stuck in a house of riddles."
Meanwhile, in the Hoenn region:
Oh my god i laughed so much at this. This was comedy gold.
Also:
*Beans.*
LATE I know..but...whats your fave *bean* ? Mines popcorn or grass (kinda good I think)
kris helfferich My favourite is whatever bean the boys are looking for ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Ron is totally numb at this point
When I was little I couldn't beat like the first lvl and I saw there was a Quidd itch lvl and I was so mad at myself I cried
Shoulda just done what I did and played World Cup Quidditch instead... well... I also played the shit out of this game until it pitted me against a screwt in the hedgemaze that took no damage, effectively trapping me on that level forever... fucking Harry Potter games, man, they ate my childhood.
Hang on... is the VA for Mad-Eye Moody in this game the narrator from the first ps1 game?
A HUGE MOTORBICLE SLEPT,
Can’t wait till you play the fifth Harry Potter game. My favorite Harry Potter game in the series
Jacklyn Thomas One of my favorite games i played in my childhood. I recommended you playing it
Jacklyn Thomas really recommend it! you can explore most of hogwarts and a few cast member even did the voices for their characters. i remember being so obsessed with it
I remember getting this game and being so disappointed. I was so excited to explote Hogwarts again, but no. I think I maybe even cried because I just didn't understand. I thought the game was broken actually.
The best Harry potter game is quidditch world cup
Well I was great in the school team, but I never ever won the world cup or even one game. xD I don't know it was too hard.
I remember playing this game without having either read the book, or watched the movie. When I reached the last part where you fight Voldemort at the graveyard I remember wondering "does this really happen in the book too? Does Voldemort really fling statues at Harry?". I also finished that last mission by mistake. I really don't know how I did it, since everything happens so abruptly in this game.
This game looked sooooo realistic when I played it as a kid in 2007
Kevin, I hope you continue to play all the Harry Potter games. It is hilarious!
"Arrrgh!"
"Someone's screaming. That was probably Ron, too."
Me: *proceeds to choke on water in an effort to not spew it everywhere as I laugh*
Oh my god, I remember this game was like the worst disappointment of my childhood! I would only stare at the screen, cause I couldn't believe how much this game sucks! hahaha
This game had coop. That alone made it worth playing (if you had friends or family who would play with you, otherwise I never touched it lol).
Ugh, I remember my parents getting me the PC version on my birthday, I was so excited and would play it all the time because I was such a big Harry Potter fan.
The controls were terrible and the AI was even worse to the point that I would get very angry at several parts of the game.
I do recall the GBA/DS version of the game being pretty good though
Kevin please continue to play this game. Maybe its a torture for you but its so much fun for me to watch you playing.
It's really impressive how bad this game was. Especially considering the source material has far more action for a decent game than the first three books, but all those games are way better than this one.
I'd really love to see a new Harry Potter game about the fourth book. Feel like it deserved far better. I never even made it to the first task when I played because its just so repetitive.
A new Goblet of Fire game, with amazing graphics and gameplay, it would be marvelous
I’d say Harry is a damsel in distress most of the time since he’s in the hospital almost every fecking year
Well, usually a damsel in distress is a character who gets into danger, yet has no way of defending themselves and had to be saved by someone else.
Harry doesn't fit that, because he's constantly getting into danger and doing something to resolve it, then being put into the hospital wing because of that, not sitting around and needing to be rescued like Princess Peach.
@@the_last_balladExactly. Bad things rarely actually happen to "damsels," other than maybe getting kidnapped. An example of an actual damsel in distress would be Ashley from Resident Evil 4. That bitch does nothing but get kidnapped and get in the way when she's actually with Leon. She has plenty of opportunities to try to help Leon and do something to help protect herself, but she doesn't. She expects him to do everything.
holy crap I had completely purged this game from memory and watching you has brought it all back in a PTSD fit of rage.
"These are troubling times we live in, terrorists everywhere" Kevin it's been 20 years since the good Friday agreement
*F A N C Y S U M T E A* ?
I remember playing this game with my sister and going through all the levels, it was pretty fun going around co-op
I am currently trying to figure out what any of this has to do with the plot of the goblet of fire. I don't think I am going to succeed...
That "hurry up" will always get to me. Like that delivery was...something else
This game was such a downgrade from the 3rd one. I don't blame you for quiting, the game only gets worse with more and more backtracking and ridicilous challenges. The first 2 minutes of this video already gave me more enjoyment than that entire game.
The first levels until the greenhouse are actually kind of okay. But the end game destroyed everything imo.
@@richarde98 I remember that final Voldemort fight being so anticlimactic. Harry cast Expelliarmus (which had never been used or seen before in the game... small detail, but an annoying continuity pet peeve for me) and was in a deadlock with Voldemort, having to like... Push a giant ball of energy towards him? Disappointing.
Exactly what I did. I quit it. I just couldn't. Game play was horrible and yes, such a downgrade. 1st, 2nd and 3rd each had their own unique factor, 4th was just a mess.
@@AzeemKhan-oz5cq I mean, that bit is literally in the book it's based on, so...it's been quite a while since I read the books, but I don't think Expelliarmus comes up much in Goblet either.
"It's... his mark!" "HAGRID!" I died 😂
I remember being incredibly frustrated with this game, I could never get past the forbidden forest.
it's 5am and "defence against the dark arts" is taking me out 4:18
It's like the voice actors were constantly on speed XD. They're always elated and screaming
You quickly became my favorite channel, all your videos are gold.
In Ron's own words, this video is...
*A BEAN!*
"Stun stun stun stun stun stun stun, aaaaaaaaand...Lift!"
And TIGHTEN those cores, and raise those arms, and squeeze those glutes!
I just can't get over the fact the screen very clearly shows Rathalos flying overhead, with really loud sound effects, and harry just goes "What does a horntail sound like?" Ignoring Smaug about to rip into their existence.
Hermione dies
*That's great*
That's no way to talk about your future wife Ron
I remember when this came out I saw the movie then bought the game $50 brand new...my wallet still aches in disappointment
"You guys will never believe this, but I stopped recording and just.. killed Voldemort!"
*scrolls past level titled Voldemort; locked*
Going from the 3rd game to this one is like going from kobe beef to Kobe Bryant's 3 week old gym socks crusted over in the bottom of the hamper
JC Denton: "A BOMB"
Ron Weasley: "A BEAN"
1:48
Mr. Weasley: We all need to cast Wingardium Leviosa on that rock!
Me: Or...you could just walk over the much shorter rocks right next to it, no magic required.
*Not even magic can defeat gravity*
And it burns burns burns, right into the goblet of fire
Am I the only one who wasn't dissapointed about this game? I mean, I wouldn't go out if my way to defend it, but I remember it being kinda fun in co-op win friends.
Reminds me of The Return Of The King video game, also fun in co-op with friends.
It was fun with friends, no doubt, but alone it was a chore. The main problem is the combo spells that require the AI partners to help the player. Since it seems like the developers didn't bother programming much into the AI partner, it becomes a pain waiting and hoping they'll eventually help with the bigger spell combos. It also didn't help that they completely gutted the exploration factor and instead focused on turning the game into a bastardized version of Banjo/Spyro and collect those damn shields just to progress, probably because they realized just how short the game would be otherwise so they had to find a way to pad out the length.
Honestly, the game is not terrible if you got a buddy along with you to laugh at the game, but in my opinion, it becomes one of the worst, if not, the worst HP game in the series if you're by yourself.
This was my favorite game from all the Harry Potter games alongside with the first one, I feel some real Nostalgia.
I love how much Beef Kevin has with Ron 😂
The GBA version of this game was actually one of my favorite Potter games. It depicted stuff that was never shown in the movies like blast ended skrewts, dugbogs, and a bunch of spells. It was awesome to see what those things were “supposed” to look like. Level diversity was crazy too, it felt like each one added something new and fun. You also definitely felt like a stronger wizard as the game progressed despite not having any leveling/RPG mechanics
I grew up playing this game on the Ps2, and I remember having no clue what the shields were, and why they were a thing. Those were the days where I had no internet, so looking up their locations wasn't possible. It made the game much less enjoyable, as you couldn't access certain parts without them 😂
Dean Dinh I would argue that this was what made games good, back then. When you didn't have access to the internet you had to solve many problems yourself (including exploring on your own). Sure, it was frustrating as hell, I still remember how long did it take to find all of them, but nowadays it's just too easy. One google search and you've completed it already.
@@Vitalis94 My god, yes. I try telling people that all of the time. Same thing with the mods that literally just cheat you through the games, what is the point? The fun in video games, is playing the games, figuring out how to progress and the sense of accomplishment when you figure it out. My boyfriend never understands why I am so bothered by the fact that Mortal Kombat has a 'move list' on the pause menu now, the challenge of working hard and learning a character is gone.
*hAGriD*
Oh
No
No

Kevin, I haven't laughed this hard at UA-cam videos for ages. These broken game videos actually kill me! Thank you
Ron’s voice is KILLING ME
Remember when in the Harry Potter books, Harry, Hermione, and Ron ran around the forest killing random animals and collecting beans? That was a great chapter.
ensm2121 Oh yeah, definitely a fan favorite, but my favorite was when Professor Moody made them do pointless tasks! Or.. No, I'd daresay Harry, Ron, and Hermoine being attacked by the dragon is a close contender.
I was gonna like this comment, but it had 420 likes so I couldn't do that
@@torba23 good on you friend. But it's up to 1k now. So it's okay for you to like this now.
