- BOSTON LOBSTER 🦞 Beach Cook Out - Catch Clean Cook | Gale Force Twins EP. 3 🏝
After two full days of bluefin tuna fishing off the New England coast we switched gears and decided to go lobstering for some Boston lobster (aka Maine Lobster or New England Lobster) 🦞 Our traps caught skates, spider crabs and of course “keepah lobstah” which then had to be measured, banded and kept alive till we were back at the dock 🦀 We then rebaited the traps and sent them back down to the ocean floor for the next charter! Once back at the dock we walked a block over to the beach and with nothing but a pot of sea water and tank of propane Capt John steamed our lobsters whole and fresh. The shellfish was so fresh and delicious it did not need an ounce of seasoning 👨🍳 Capt John taught us how to open up the lobsters and eat every last piece of meat. This excursion in Boston was truly one I’ll never forget!

Great video, you two ladies are knocking it out of the park. One of the best channels on UA-cam!!!!!
good to see these guys making the best out of a declining fishery, new innovative fishery, good way to let non-fishermen see how things work and maybe spark a nrw interest for someone
👍 You gotta luv those Maine Lobsters! Great Video!
Man this episode brought me home. Grew up on Long Island where lobster from New England was readily available but then after my tour in the USMC I became a Contractor with an awesome job that allowed me to travel to Brunswick, MN and I indulged in so many lobster dishes! Well done ladies!

Looks like you had a beautiful day out there, and I was surprised to see my families home behind you in the opening scene. Keep up the good work.
Cool adventure. I bet they get a lot more people coming after your video's bring them a bunch of business. Down south of Boston in Wellfleet, Mass. I saw 10lb. Lobster at the fresh market. Great time.
good video and info-its a very good look at a well defended family fishery. more than a few new england women blazed the trail you are on-take a look at the books 'the hungry ocean' by greenlaw and 'giant bluefin' by whynott. stay safe skipper(s).

great vidl. thanks for sharing. Quick question. What did you two study at University of Miami??
Cool thanks for sharing the adventures with us be safe out there 😁
Thanks for the video something to put on my bucket list
You have to dip it in butter to really get the full experience. What did you think about those lobsters and the ones you get down south?
How cool!!
Please send some of your catch to your loyal fans 😃
"So stoked!" " I made a friend!" Blhahaha! Expanding the horizons of the videos! Next up on the GFT! Alligator wrestling in the everglades! Ummmm Gator tail tastes just like chicken! LOL! You all be safe! Bad weather headed for the Key's! Tie down the boat and send the cats to higher ground! o,o
Lol
you guys have enjoyable videos
Cool to see you guys in my own town probably saw you on the water
Y'all should try whaling next or something that requires a harpoon. Great vid!
As a kid we use to go up to Bar Harbor Maine and eat fresh lobster off the wharf and catch Tinker Mackerel.
Nice video! I snag pogies for bait in my traps, sometimes ill use a striper carcus, and if u like beaches, west beach has white sand that feels like it was filtered with a screen!
Cold water Lobster the best!
There is a awesome lobster shack in Cape Elizabeth Maine on a rock cliff a must if you ever get the chance.
That is so cool! I'm jealous!
Fresh caught Lobster has a completely different taste than Lobster that you buy at a market !
I live in Maine they mostly use pogies for bait
Interesting how everyone does it different
nothing better than a north american lobster
Nice
I love the lobstter
Making me hungry 😋
Curious if there a big difference in taste between Florida and Maine lobsters?
Stripers are starting to feed...you guys should have fun ....catch our video at cape cod catch and cook..
i love lobsters
Nice town ....
Homarus americanus. The American Lobster. Same species. Maine tried to get ownership of the ubiquitously accepted name “Maine Lobster” and would have required that lobsters so named MUST come from Maine waters. Nice try Mainiacs!😊
Dope
Keep spirit
I use to do commercial floor covering and my boss was from up north. At their Xmas party they had to show me hoe to eat the lobster cause I had never eaten an whole lobster.🙌
Watching Florida keys weather and so far looks good for your trip. Lobstering is hard work and if you don't like the cold get a desk job. If you like sandy beaches montauk and the Hamptons rated #2 in us. Not just for the rich and famous but just fixed ac in 25 million dollar shack.
Hiiiii!!!!! ❤️❤️ first!
I live in quincy and lobster out of boston also know captain John personally
Captain John is my dad
Hello Amelia! Thanks for watching 😊 we had a great time catching lobsters with your dad!
Gale Force Twins You are so good at fishing
Gale Force Twins I have a brother and he loves fishing
Come to scituate Massachusetts
That crab didn't want to let go because it knew on his way down it was going to be eaten by a big-ass grouper
kelly hill I’d like to see you catch a grouper in Massachusetts
Great channel GFT. Hope to meet up someday out on the reef!
Mantap brooo👍👍👍👌
Im early on this one....
Had a cook out on the beach in Maine, kind of cool eating lobster and watching the fog roll in. They told me in Nova Scotia how to catch lobster. Get women's panty hose and put salmon cat food it and hang it over the side. Lobsters come to the cat food and get their legs caught up in the hose.
Did you know that Maine was part of Massachusetts until 1820?
🎬 1 📽 🎞 🗣 🎙 🗺 🌎🌍🌏 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Review❗️ Outstanding, thank you so much for sharing.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ What an adventure 🤔🧐 👁👁 👍🏿 👩🏾💻 Good commentary,✅✅✅✅✅ One Journey🗺🌎🌍🌏 Let's Make It Count❗️
You didn’t say “deploy the holy trap!”
Kelly Young commented here. Hopefully we will see a video collaboration soon
LOL..."Emily has a fish brain" :D
That one lobster she threw back was dead lol they should've kept it 🤣
👍👌👏
@Gale Force Twins, you can actually devein lobsters BEFORE you rip their tails off. It’s VERY EFFECTIVE. Please film yourselves deveining all of the lobsters BEFORE you rip their tails off from now on. 🙏
how many times do i have to subscribe
Pretty cool vid .....i would've like to see a better tutorial on how eat a whole lobster, so I can show my coworkers....how anyone can get to 39-40 yro and never eaten a whole lobster blows my mind...there's a saying in Maine...all new england lobsters are baptized a maine lobster ! :-) Tight lines 😎
Why not just set the traps on the otherside instead of slide around 3/4 of the boat?
The moment when all of us men realize they want first mate cam..... lol dang it
Early
As someone who fishes near there I truly hate skates cool the first time but everything after that is annoying😂
Simple
Am I the only one who got the bad joke about "lady of the lobster” ?
Vagina
No it’s an actually wives tail for good luck. Like the wishbone of the lobster
xo
Happy to see you enjoying our cold water lobster, here in Shediac NB Canada we have the same species. If it’s okay to post here is a link to a interpretive cruise in our area,

Following your theme, a story. Lobster is now considered a delicacy but in years past the effluent family’s kids had PPJ sandwiches for lunches at school and the poorer kids lobster. In those days whole lobsters where also used for fertilizer. Today however the shells are collected from the processing plants, dried, pulverized and used as fertilizer.
Enjoy your video’s, next time steaming your lobsters, removing the bands first is our way eh!
Mike
🇯🇲😀
It's Quinzee not Quincy.
