Pretty much, people tend to forget A-Chan knew Sora way before Hololive was even a company. It's just us fans who are suffering without her presence being around

@@hafirenggayuda It's not taking it lightly, it's to not guilt A-chan for her decision to leave Cover to take care of her family. Cover's neighbor would never have let somebody like her go...

Yeah I never got why people were so worried about Sora since they were friends before Hololive so it’s not like their relationship is just going to stop with A-Chan leaving Hololive.
@@TheGreatDrakeWell, most people stop contact or have a harder time staying in touch when you are no longer in the same space most of the day (work or school) so I'd say it's valid for people to worry.
But Sora and A-chan are not mere friends, their bonds are greater than normal friendships so they'll be fine.
Also the fact that A-chan is quitting due to a family's medical issue instead of her own choice is just sad imo.

Things like this are normal, co-workers that you meet every time you work will leave the company when the time comes or their work contracts expire, however you can still contact your friends outside of work, just like on the cover, hololive. A Chan left the company without being involved in a case and left in good condition. He left because there was something important at home

The amount of copium going on is ridiculous. For all we know, the family health thing could have been a ruse and she simply found a better job somewhere. And she's leaving the company, not dying! Sora can see her whenever she wants. Hell, Coco went fishing with Calli and some haunted house thing like last year or something. And I had friends that I went to school with, graduated and lost touch when they started a family in a different city! Big deal!
@@captsomeguy1 A better job? If you know how jobs work in Japan and considering her position at Hololive, there's no way she'll find a better job, unless she's leaving Japan, which is unlikely.

I remember an anecdote from Miko about the early Holo days when there's so few of them and their future in the industry was very uncertain, that the one thing that gave her hope and courage was the sight of A-chan helping w/ Sora's equipment as the latter prepared to go live. We no longer have the privilege of seeing their interaction on-screen, but that mental image will always define Hololive for me.
Sora is so real for that, and I admire how she never loses sight of the scope of events and things. She and the other Holomems can interact with their friend A-chan at any time, which is lovely... but A-chan's fans are stranded and lost. They're the ones most shafted by her graduation.
Still, let's not badger the talents for news and messages to and from our former idol staff, alright? Unlike what I said above, annoying the girls about her would suck for EVERYONE.
as it always is for the fans after a graduation, one day they are there. the next they are not, with the fans being helpless to do anything about it other then to deal with it in their own way. that usually involves moving on to the next one
@@Acranify I can give no better example than what happened to Tempus HQ after Vesper and Magni graduated. It messed up some fans to the point where most stopped watching Holostars, and didn't even go to their PLs, because they're not the same thing. A few abandoned Hololive altogether - yes, including the girls. Poor Tempus as a whole was hamstrung really badly by that exodus; thank goodness Armis came along and steered the boat into calmer tides.

I mean this is not surprising at all, we know that Sora talks with A-Chan almost daily, so even if A-Chan leave, things would barely change for Soda.
Regardless I still hope we see A-Chan pop by from time to time if she is ever free.

She's right, as a loyal fan of hololive since 2019, I'm at an all time sad cuz of her departure.

Except that it is much easier for Sora and A-chan since A-chan is not an actual talent but a staff member. And I am very sure that A-chan will be consulted behind the scenes. After all, 7 years of experiences is no joke.

Honestly, I think A-chan is probably suffering the most. It's clear she loved being there, but her family needs her and she knows that's more important right now.

Sora and everyone still can call her, go have a coffee together, visit places enjoy events like Anime expos and IRL stuff. We can be happy for that
I tell myself when I'm watching a stream or concert, that somewhere out there A-Chan is doing the same, supporting the talents and idols from the audience like the rest of us.
That way it's as if she's watching them with us and she's never truly gone :)

I think Sora is now in Kanata's position when Coco left. People wanted little tidbits of their interations so Kanata (and Kson) would often talk about "Friend C" or "PJako". Eventually, People may very well ask about A-chan and how she and her family is doing. Sad how things like a family member falling can change plans in life. From the sounds of it it's something serious and long term.

Yeah, they're friends IRL so I don't think we don't have to worry about it. I imagine that A-chan and Sora already have conversation about the situation way before it's public, and they already sorted their feelings. Just shows that it's not an abrupt decision and A-chan probably have weighted her options for some time.
Let's just hope Nodoka able to take helm and continue her legacy.

The way none of them seem to be too worried about A-Chan makes it almost seem like she's pretty content with being in a place to leave. Hope the family stuff isn't too bad but maybe this will allow for a healthier work/life balance for her
Sora knows how to comfort us when things get down. She’s A-chan’s best friend after all. Who knows, maybe we’ll hear voice or make a cameo in everyone’s streams again.
We can talk about A-chan and remember all the good things about her. But Sora will still be able to see her from time to time.

It's like when other vtubers graduate. They don't vanish for anyone but the fans for however long they're off stream. For most of their friends It's just Tuesday.
I was never concerned about their friendship. So A-chan is leaving Hololive. She isn’t ending her friendship with Sora. She just won’t be involved anymore.
Spend some good time with her
It's probably the work culture but A-chan could easily keep contributing to Cover as a consultant from home via phone calls
Fun fact, apparently at cover when they are in zoom calls even the random employees often use freeware/self made vtuber avatars instead of having cameras on

I can see her coming back at some point(maybe not pulling on air face of the company duty). It's very difficult for people to change fields. most people miss the game, whatever game that may be or fall back on what they know when they need a job to pay the bills. and it's a place she knows will hire her, start her in management(not have to climb the ladder again), and is filled with people she knows, people who love and respect her, and knows how things work there(the corporate culture).

Sora probably had her tears and given that they had a graduation Hologra for A-chan, her needing to leave was probably decided upon within the first month that whoever fell ill is really really ill and A-chan needs to help, be it a grandparent or parent or other relative

She has a family member she need to take care of. So she already take 3 months break, but i think the situation is not getting better, so she can not return to work, that's why she choose to retire. Family come first.
