- Driving Across Costa Rica - San Jose to Jaco (1/4) November 2016
This is video 1 of 4. I drove from San Jose to Jaco. The drive was a little less than 2 hours.

You did a great job navigating your way out on that slumpy area in the outskirts of the city. Also, the only reason you had to do that u-turn, is that you missed the exit towards Route 27 right at 14:38. Thanks for visiting our country!
I popped in here to remind myself of what driving in CR is like. I have knots in my stomach! The good thing is that I now remember it is okay to miss a turn as WAZE will find a way to get me back to where I am going.
Thanks for making this vid.
I lived there four years...even Ticos get lost once in a while : ). Love the country, love the food, love the weather (yes, even heavy tropical rain is beautiful), love the people (really friendly, hard-workers, happy all the time), do not love potholes, but heck, those are part of life too. Driving is a bit crazy, but driving in California now seems almost the same.
so is the whole highway pretty busy to Jaco.. I have never visited CR but want to see the country and plan on driving after seeing the video
San José is a great place, isn't it?
What GPS did you use ?
West to East? Pacific to Atlantic? How long did it take? How long if you already did it and were trying to make time? thx for sharing! Awesome! Looking for advice on tis adventure..
joel bass East to west.
Me parece un dia nublado... pero se mira bien la ciudad.
You didn't take the Autopista Prospero Fernández exit. I'm surprised you didn't notice on your screen
I was just doing my best to follow what Google Maps was telling me to do. I made a couple wrong turns in the beginning in my drive. After that I think I did pretty good. But, sometimes Google Maps is definitely wrong.
@@RichardsWorld I always use Waze, to me it's the most efficient and complete GPS app.
I recommend watching at 2x speed
wow beautiful country
@:59 you drove past New Fantasy and didn't even stop ;(
I started at the Sportsmens Lodge :)
I'm not sure if I've been to New Fantasy before. I went to San Jose about 5 years ago, and I can only remember the names of the big places.
Now I see that suspicious looking sign :)
Ahhhh Sportsmens Lodge, greatest bar man ever created!
A stop-sign at a stop-light? Wth?!
It looks nice over theyre
Más perdido que el chiquito de La Llorona.. Jajaja
DANGER PLACE
LOl Waze and those latino names. What a mess
Waze isn't Latino I think it's American.
